New administration under Samia Suluhu gives hope after 5 years of hopelessness

Born: 15th May, 1940. Departed: 17th August, 2021. With great sadness, the Mramba’s Family hereby announce the passage of our beloved father, Basil Pesambili Mramba; A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered. Mzee succumbed to illness at the Regency Medical Center earlier this morning, 17th August; 2021. Given the pandemic situation, the family accepts your sympathies and prayers and asks for privacy. We will receive visits from Family Members ONLY at his residence on Mawenzi Road, Oysterbay. Further information and program will be shared at a later stage. The Lord has given, and the Lord has taken away; May God rest his soul in eternal peace. Amen. Godfrey B. Mramba.

We are beginning to see commitment to the rule of law and good governance after the rights of whistle blower will be restored. No more incitement to be used to clamp down freedom of speech and expression.

Without freedom of speech and expression the fight against official graft is lost even before it started because in opaque graft thrive unimpeded.

We are planning to follow closely the challenges and achievements of this new administration without biasness in the next four years or so.

As usual we will attempt to focus in the rule of law and good governance.

What do you want to mean by five years of hopelessness? The way your arguments are formulated defeats whatever intentions you have. Try to communicate with others instead of communicating to yourself.

This is where your problem emanates. Do you think we can all see things equally in the first place? When you use terms, please define them for others to be in the same loop. Hopeless is relative. What is seen as hopeless for one person can offer hope to another. For example, while the fifth phase regime dealt with some corrupt elements in the country, economic sharks lost hope while the paupers gained one. It is that simple rookie.

But as a matter of caution "mitambo" is not necessarily one way street but could mean plenty to different people.
