After this sleazy handshake, somehow the photo of the Chadema parliament seeker just disappeared from his nomination forms, and January Makamba was declared MP in 2020 for Bumburi constituency unopposed.
This was a major election corruption that deprived the Bumburi electorate from choosing the leaders they prefer to lead them.
When leaders secure public office through corruption you are guaranteed 💯 that corruption will rule all the days they are clutching public office, and thereafter.
One only bribes because he expects to be bribed back after winning public office by illegal means.
No wonder allegations of corruption have stalked January Makamba wherever he goes because to him public office is an opportunity to self enrichment.

Once in power obtained by corrupt means, CCM pretends to wedge a war against corruption through rhetoric but in substance they do everything to preserve it

Despite Court momentous decision that DEDs are an illegality to supervise our elections, CCM through its branch called NEC they defy Court orders keeping deploying DEDs to massively rig our elections.
CCM has absolutely no intentions to replace DEDs with NEC secretariat before 2024 and 2025 elections.
Those elections will declare them sham elections

But Magufuli was worse than her! I cannot believe you do not peek the obvious.
True, bandari issue remains her nadir but she has her bright spots too.
Unlike Magufuli who trampled our human rights she is holding them in high esteem.
That makes her much tolerable, so to speak.
