[TD]New Scholarships and Awards for MPP candidates
The School was delighted to announce in December a number of new scholarships and awards available to Master of Public Policy students. These scholarships, including the Oxford-David H. Pollock and Tomislav Zegarac Memorial Scholarships, the University College-Blavatnik School of Government Scholarships, the Kounelakis, Zegarac-Pollock Awards and the Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Scheme (CSSS), make it possible for some of the world's most outstanding students to attend the School regardless of their financial circumstances.
These scholarships and awards complement a number of existing funding schemes available to MPP students including up to five Chevening-Weidenfeld scholarships, two Walter Kwok Scholarships and BP Awards. These offer funding to some of the very best students from selected regions throughout the world.
Further details about all scholarships and awards available to MPP applicants can be accessed here. And please remember: when making an application you can apply for more than one funding source if you are eligible.

Information Afternoon Videos
An information afternoon for prospective students and interested stakeholders was held on Friday 7 December. The afternoon was composed of three parts: first attendees heard about the course content from a panel of BSG academics. Then the programmes team and a representative of the Graduate Admissions team from Oxford explained the admissions process, how to apply for scholarships and the issue of choosing a college. Finally, three members of the current MPP class shared their experience of the course so far. To watch recordings of this event please visit our Oxfordbsg YouTube channel.

Submitting an application to the Master of Public Policy Deadline: 18 January 2013
If you have already submitted your application to the MPP, well done! We are already looking forward to what looks like another promising year for admissions.
Already started? If you have already started an application online, try to get that completed as soon as you can in case any questions arise and to make an allowance for references to be submitted. Please remember that incomplete applications will not be considered.
Starting an application now? It is still possible to get a great application ready if you can dedicate some serious time to pulling it together. We suggest that you start at our website and also review the videos we have uploaded to our YouTube channel. Subjects include: curriculum overview, entry criteria, how to apply and funding. You will also need to get organized regarding your referees, academic transcripts and English language test results (if required) so don't leave it a moment longer! Remember: there is a huge amount of information on our website and at the University's main Application Guide.
You can also post questions to our Facebook wall where we will answer them as soon as we can, but we warned – the nearer we get to the deadline the busier we are getting so look at our online Frequently Asked Questions before submitting a question. Good luck!.
