New: Tanzania is the East Africa's most urbanised nation

New: Tanzania is the East Africa's most urbanised nation

You have more people in urban areas who do not produce anything. That is where Kenya defeats you, We have fewer people in urban areas (a cultural thing) but who produce 10X what you produce in far more complex jobs than the simple jobs in Tanzanian cities.
Also the largely rural parts of Kenya form the backbone of Kenyan economy.
Nyandarua a county that is largely rural produces more horticulture than the whole of Tanzania combined, they are also in the top five richest counties in Kenya.
Kericho a largely rural county is the largest tea producer in east and central africa with millionaires who would never want to step in the city.
Naivasha in Nakuru county is largely rural but is home to the second highest number of hotels after mombasa and home to the world famous Kenyan floriculture which earns Naivasha about kes 70 billion annually.
Kenya has more developed cities and urban centres than Tanzania but majorly people prefer to live in rural areas to make money from Agriculture. That is why Kenyan agriculture is worth almost triple that of Tanzania.
Uasin gishu county, home to eldoret town, very few people want to live in eldoret town majority are wheat farmers, maize farmers, avocado farmers and dairy farmers. They go to the eldoret town to buy machines for their farms and electronics(Yes the farmers have electronics that would be a luxury in Tanzanian cities).
Kenyans Like to lie to themselves so they can feel relief,
There is no point that will disregard urbanisation as a sign of Development, All developed Nations in this world have bigger populations in urban than rural,
If Tz could count everything in place our GDP could be closer to $100b
You can not tell me people in towns produces less if someone owns a Shop kienyeji making a profit of $200 per day just because they don't pay Tax and his busines isn't registered, if they dont produce anything how do they manage to live and Expand these cities mzee,
I have traveled almost the Entire country and people are building modern houses like never before,

Tanzania Cities and towns besides their biggeer Sizes have no slums, people afford Standard Housing, Water, Electricity, Education and Healthcare services,

All the Cities and Towns in Tanzania are well connected to quality road infrastructure, (All cities and towns, Here I am talking of more than 30 cities and Municipalities as well as more than 130 towns in districts),

Kwa habari ya Agriculture It is very interesting to hear your General Conclussion, Kenya haiwezi hata kujitosheleza kwa Chakula.

HAHAHAHAHA, Facts do not lie. Tanzania is not in the least developed countries for no reason ie You are among the least developed countries in the world(IMF, World bank, european union, G20 all agree with me). Urbanization does no mean your urban centres have good infrastructure it just means they have a big population.
Of courses you can not see slums when informal settlements are the norm.

Informal settlement means houses not in order,
Like uniform roofs, being apartment, I don't see a problem on That, I am sharing you these three municipal towns of Morogoro, Moshi and Iringa as an eye opener,
Besides, Middle Income for Kenya is only status, Kenya is a third world country, I have advised someone in comments to travel via Road from Lungalunga, Ukunda, Mombasa to Nairobi, He will be able to know Kenya.

See the Videos
Morogoro Population 350K, not even a City

Iringa Population 200K

Moshi Municipal population 300K

Actually hata Bangladesh au Nigeria or Indonesia ziko more urbanised lakini very poor na horrible life ko ni kweli watu wengi kuishi mijini sio sababu tosha ya kusema nchi imeendelea, kwa kesi ya Tzn kwa mfano tunaambiwa zaidi ya 75% ya mapato na GDP inatoka Dar sasa unaweza imagine huko countryside hali ilivyo mbaya.

All those businesses mentioned are own by foreigners. Thats why mnajiita middle income country wakati mnaishi kwenye slums na hamna huduma za kijamii. A free native kenyan life is more horrible than mfungwa aliyepo Tanzania

Una akili mgando sana.

Tanzania kuna majiji yafuatayo:-

1. Dar es salaam
2. Mwanza
3. Arusha
4. Mbeya
5. Tanga
6. Dodoma

Manispaa zipo tele hata hazihesabiki

Mikoa 31+

Wilaya 130+

Zote hizo ni miji

According to recent data from International Monetary Fund (IMF), Kenya, with an urbanisation level of 28 percent, has surpassed Angola to emerge as the third largest economy in sub-Saharan Africa, behind Nigeria and South Africa.

When arguments run out and your head gets a stack overflow exception. You spew illiteracy and ignorance.

Who told you hali ni mbaya? 75% thats from tax! for example mm nakaa arusha, the government collects here almost $2B from tourism alone which is more than all east african countries revenue za tourism combined na change ikabaki.

Thats not to count how rich arusha is rich in minerals, diversity and many more.

In fact many Kenyans prefer to get work in the urban centers in their home counties and commute from their rural homes to save costs and do farming during extra time, with devolution and more money going to the counties, more people are preferring to stay in the rural areas.

Hiyo haiondoi ukweli kwamba Tanzania is ahead in Urbanization, which means more morden economy, more access to advanced heath care, water and electricity, that's why Tanzania has got more $Millionaires than the rest of East African countries combined
