Jamani nijuavyo mimi ni kwamba Shahada (Digrii) zinatunukuwa na Vyuo Vikuu pamoja na Vyuo Vishiriki vilivyo chini ya Vyuo Vikuu husika lakini nimekuwa nikijiuliza ni kwa nini 'Taasisi ya Usimamizi wa Fedha (Institute of Financial Management - IFM) imepewa mamlaka ya kutunuku Shahada za Uhasibu, Taxation, IT etc kwa wahitimu wake wakati siyo Chuo Kikuu?

We jamaa wa wapi mbona hujauliza kuhusu TIA, IAA, CBE, IRDP, CDTI, IPS n.k..,,, usikariri kwamba Degree inatolewa na Chuo Kikuu...,,, Serikali kupitia TCU iliruhusu Institute zote ambazo zilikuwa zinatoa Advanced Diploma zianze kutoa Degree kutokana na idadi ya wanafunzi kuwa wengi wakati Vyuo vilikuwa vichache...,,,,

institute maanake ni taasii iliyospecilise katika kitu fulani na in hadhi ya kutoa shahada mfano dit ina deal na masuala ya teknolojia ifm ina deal na mambo ya fedha na vingine vingi,university ni taasisi ambayo inatoa shahada ya vitu mbalimbali ya haijaspecilize katika kitu kimoja mfano udsm,udom zinatoa sociology,education,maedicine,finance n.k wakubwa mpoo

Nafikiri kuna kitu haujaelewa hv..!!! University ni composition ya several institutes and schools... Ambazo zinatoa shahada tofauti tofauti... Kwa mfano SUA pale kuna institute moja hv inaitwa Development studies istitute (DSI) yenyewe inatoa shahada za maendeleo.. So sio kitu chakushangaza kwa IFM kutoa degree..

Mimi pia binafsi hili suala la Institute na University linanisumbua sana kulitofautisha maana naona ni kama kitu kimoja tu.Hebu nidadavulie kindani zaidi hili mkuu.

ITEGAMATWI, yuko 100% correct, MUHAS wako general! Ingekuwa ni utafiti tu wa afya tungeita institute (e.g. NIMR) au maabara tu. Au kama ni moyo tu (Heart Institute). MUHAS ni chuo kikuu cha afya na inapaswa kuwa na kila kitu kuhusu afya. Kuhusu SUA, wanatoa course za mashirika (MUCCOBS), kilimo, mifugo, ualimu, IT, uchumi n.k.

Ni sawa na mtu aliyepata div 1 na aliyepata division 3 katika necta ikatokea wamepangiwa chuo kimoja koz moja, huyu mwenye div 1 kama ni mtu wa wivu anaweza akajiuliza kwa nini huyu jamaa nimempita pakubwa then wote tumeangukia sehemu moja. Sasa hili ndilo tatzo alilokuwa nalo mtoa mada inawezekana kuna mwenzake amechaguliwa IFM naye amechaguliwa may be UDSM au Mzumbe hvo anapata wivu kwamba yeye yuko university na mwenzake yuko ktk institute ila mwisho wa siku wote wanapata degree, alitegemea huyu wa IFM apewe diploma ili yeye aonekane yupo juu zaidi. Na mbna ameitaja IFM tu wakati kuna IAA, DIT,MIT na vip kuhusu CBE.

Tukaage tukijivuna tu kuwa graduates lkn kama hamtasoma vitabu...degree ni makaratasi ambayo hata wewe unaweza tu ukjiandikia la kwako. Elimu yetu ni almost 0 na ndio maana kila siku hapa mnanung'unika oooh tiGO wanatuibia, mara ooh ITV mnaboa. Graduates are not competent! (kazi kujadili mishahara)
