U.S. President Joe Biden arrived in Luanda Monday and was welcomed by Angola foreign minister Tete Antonio on an official state visit to the southern African nation.
This is the first visit by a sitting U.S. president to the oil-producing country. The U.S. President will focus on continuing investment on the Lobito Corridor, a transnational rail line connecting Angola, DRC, Tanzania, and Zambia.
