Soma Civil Engineering, you will never regret
Electronics you will likely be working as Technician to repair, and maintenance things from abroad. Our technological platform does not give you fully opportunity to utilizes your skills as Electronic Engineer
Engineering means Design, you need to be original to be named as 'engineer' not otherwise
Narudia u will never regret kabisa kabisa

Waberoya, umeingia UDSM mwaka gani ?Kozi zote za science ziko marketable??? for third world countries or for developing countries was supposed to be so, lakini haiko hivyo na si hivyo kinadharia. Kwa sababu twasoma kupata ajira waweza kusema hivyo ila haiko hivyo
First world countries are best in IT, TELECOM, ELECTRONICS wakati mnasema anaweza mtu mmoja akasoma vyote nashtuka/ we are importing all these technologies...( soko huria)...all to be precise! na teknolojia ya hivyo vitu inakua kila siku ya Mungu, you need to read/study/updated everyday....mwanzoni utafanya kupata ajira, in future utaona una specialise sehemu moja, ambayo mazingira yetu ya kitanzania yangeruhusu ungekuwa na uwezo wa ku specialize toka mwanzo na kuwa BEST na sio shallow kila area
then call urself scientist, technician or technologist ila sio Engineer!!
The time tunaingia UDSM vipanga wa Ilboru, mzumbe, kibaha na tabora bys walikuwa wanakimbilia computer science, electronics, na electrical.......in real life leo hii wengi wanajuta kuwa wangeenda Civil, Geology, Petroleum, Architects, survey and the related courses
I teach Engineering and I now exactly what I am talking about
Unasoma hayo makozi, ila unakuwa utilised sawa kabisa na form six au form four leaver abroad!!!! unakuwa abused
hata kiwanda cha saa hatuna, jamani what electronics are we talking about??
IT is a driving tools, everyone needs IT in his own carrier..( Note this)
sticky to reality
my friend sio kuwa soko la IT au TELECOM liko saturated!!!! we are not fit there!!! ni kama leo umeletewa TV au LAPTOP what electronics are you playing there?? many of these jobs you can just train form six leaver au form four leaver na akafanya kazi utakayo.........most of equipment that are being used for electronics field are imported!!!
Electronics engineer, is supposed to invent those tools, sio kutumia na kuunga unga --if you want to appreciate the meaning of Engineering
Waberoya, umeingia UDSM mwaka gani ?

1. Scientists vs. Engineers One prefers the unknown, the other can't stand it.3. The two disciplines are really just different sides of the same coin, science is heavier on the theoretical (they ask 'why?') whereas engineering is more on the application (they ask 'how?').The occasional friction between these two groups stems from the apparent lack of understanding of each others limitations. On paper many ideas in science appear possible. However, to engineer it from conception to a fully operational device may prove to be extremely difficult, costly, and maybe impractical
2. The relationship between Scientists and Engineers is Love-Hate style for ages. Can't live without yo but Don't need you
4. Science is about what is, Engineering is about what can be
5. Both titles have lots of math, science and STEM subjects under their belt. Applying their knowledge is different and how they do it is different as well. The Applying part for engineers is inventing something new or making something better. Engineers are time limited and resource limited. Engineers make the most impact in the world by inventions. Scientists they Apply their knowledge in possible vast amounts of research and to solve one problem. Scientists research Viruses, products and problems in the world. They create solutions for these problems. Engineers create solutions and scientist create solutions. The only big differences are that engineers are time limited and resource limited more often than scientists unless funding is not an issue. So both do some what similar work ,but there are differences. One could consider an engineer a scientist or vice versa. They overlap on some areas.
6.Scientists are trained to hypothesize, investigate, and formulate conclusions based on observations. They typically do not know what the end-point or 'finding' of their work is, often by design as to not bias the results. Engineers use known principles, models and tenets to design and work toward a known end-point with a known, or at least well-understood path to get there. Both are trained to solve-problems, but the types of problems each is best-suited for are different, as are the methods each use. One way to think of the difference is that Scientists will more often ask 'why?' while Engineers will more often ask 'how?'
7. Scientists identify a phenomenon which must be observed and understood. An engineer then studies the research material generated by the scientific observation/study and uses it to produce practical applications. A scientist cannot and does not have the skill set to "Engineer" from "Knowledge" a real world solution. An Engineer can be said to be a "Professional Occupation" and a Scientist can be said to be a "Core Occupation" this is due to that fact that an Engineer has not only the scientific knowledge produced by Scientists but also has the capacity to generate his or her own Scientific knowledge. The principle difference between the two is the fact that Engineers also have professional knowledge and skills such as business acumen, entrepreneurial skills, management skills and industrial awareness. Engineers also have a high level of creativity and design ability which is lacking in Scientists as a Scientist cannot be creative because they observe, model, analyse and publish
8. A scientist is creater and definer of things and engineer use, develop and make beneficial of that discovery and invention for common life
9. Scientists lead engineers, engineers don't lead scientist
10. Main difference between scientist and engineer is scientist imaginev and create things and engineer imagine, feels and create things.Engineer may look like scientist at some point but after thinking welcome to know there is small difference between them.
11. Scientist have basically link with inventions but engineers are usually work on the prblms that face after the inventions of scientist so scientist have the high grade
12. scientists tend to explore the natural world and discover new knowledge about the universe and how it works. Engineers apply that knowledge to solve practical problems, often with an eye toward optimizing cost, efficiency, or some other parameters.
concls
There is considerable overlap between science and engineering, so you will find scientists who design and construct equipment and engineers who make important scientific discoveries.
If you studied science yu are working as an engineer, then you are an engineer!!! our Tz environment does not allow or favour scientist to work as researcher ...you might work as an engineer, but that is because of our situation!!
COET class ya 2002, sema!!
