I question the real value, relevance and completeness of our education system.We are top in Africa but why are we like this. The Educated country has one of the worst GDPs and Standards of Living in the same Africa.
We fail to properly use public toilets, litter our streets, pollute our water, openly defecate & urinate, don't maintain our houses & buildings. As educated as we are said to be we elect the not exactly educated councillors all the way to Senators. Our standards seem low.
We reluctantly pay tax and rates! In fact we will try evasion before avoidance. We vote for a constitution we did not read and party manifestos mean nothing. All that matter is slogans!
We can't even run a basic thing as a currency. We collectively allow 5 year circles of deceit on the belief it's democracy. Our universities can't even feed themselves except a diet of cabbage and sadza (pap)
If they had choice employees will not to be employed by the educated indigenous people and properly Chinese. The top 1% and middle class has very few educated people!
Even on this article it won't be surprising for someone to blame it on ED for openly defacating, litter or using one's p** to scribble n*nsense on toilet walls. Some will come and say Chamisa Chete Chete and that its our ONLY solution .A whole country has two and now three minds out of 14 million mostly educated people
4.0 is a great thing but I think a compulsory year after high school to teach non education skills should be considered. Not the Border Gezi party hijacked kind of programme.
