"We need better teachers," a frustrated parent yells.
"If you were parents, your kids would be better students," a teacher fires back, with just as much anger and frustration.
Parent-teacher meeting have changed since I was a kid. When I was in school the only person blamed for doing poorly was the student. Now the teachers are blaming the parents and the parents are blaming the teachers. And together they're screaning at the politician. To top it off, taxpayers are getting sick of the whole thing. Our education system is in a chaotic state, everyone pointing fingers at everyone else. It seems everyone has someone to blame

Yes, teachers are involved BUT just as much as anyone in the society!

In a system where politic prevails the profession, where priority would be strategic than crash programme, involvement and participation of academic background would involve everyone(Parents/Guardians/ Pupil and students), only if pupil/students would understand the importance of education ..things wouldnt turn as mess as they are now!

It is grossly unfair to blame one facet of the educational system, such as teachers, lack of money or shot school hours. Each is merely a tiny piece of a monstrously complex structure. Outside influences also affect what happens inside school. Just look at the competition our schools have today: tv, videos, phones etc. No wonder our kids are bored by schools
