In Summary

President Uhuru Kenyatta ordered journalists to pack and leave at the Kenya School of Government during his address to senior police commanders. The Head of State lauded the officers for a job well done in ensuring the country remains secure.

The conflict between the media and the government appears far from over.

Three days into the media shutdown, a seemingly angry President Uhuru Kenyatta ejected journalists from covering the Inspector General of Police annual conference function at the Kenya School of Government.

The President who appeared to have an off the cuff message for the senior commanders, ordered journalists to pack up and leave in an unusual manner.

“Sasa si nyinyi mzime hiyo mavitu yenyu na muende, kazi imekwisha,”said Kenyatta

The Head of State usually holds closed door talks after such meetings, but journalists who attended the function termed his tone as hostile during the address

Hapa ndiyo nilipomkubali magu!!

Bitter pill you should also pack up and go! Leave the first to comment spot to your intended audience next time. You seem very frustrated by president Uhuru Kenyatta!
He seemed to really frustrated by jumping the gun n starting a fight with journalists instead of taming the big wild cat RAO.
