Tanzania lacks professional development in the entertainment sector especially in Art. Firstly lets look at the past and then come to the present, from independence we are cultured in a way that only listens to how the past did it and we must do the same, from our ideology of the educational system path of life towards our centralized family values and living styles. Over 60 plus years of independence with no bloodshed we are still behind centuries compared to other nations that didn't have an easy way out like us.
The problems we face is having a lot of people living on a 1960s dream that was made by someone who didn't know what the internet was and ironically till today the majority of the country lives in this same mindset. We have a lot of home degree holders that are all competing to get the same job their great grandparents told their parents about, we have countless street degree holders that have nothing but memory of their university life as the only ting they can show their degree of for, not to forget the millions of people that failed to get a degree in the country who are now jobless or struggling to make day to day amends.
My agenda is on creating professional development programs for the art sector. Artists of all sort have the ability and will to reach for the stars but have been shadowed by society and the government for way too long. The government and the big private companies in the country need to help this group of people by creating fair advancement programs to benefit both parties.
The art sector holds massive total value of 65 billion dollars by 2023, with Africa having a value of 2.5 billion by the same time. The market for art is ever expanding and ever growing as it can stand on its own or as part of Tourism and scenary. Pushing artists towards their goals by creating programs that develop and shape them will bring a vast market full of job opportunities, revenue, increase in government revenue and more exports for the country.
The question that will follow is how will the government and private investors do all this ?
Afterwards the other question may come inform of finding investment to actually push these programs.
The growth of our art industry will mean Tanzania can start international trade of Art and in a large scale, there's literally no boundary apart from our mental space blocking us from the future.
Where will working capital come from?
Artists can be charged a toll to use the art facilities that way they can be money around to continue running the operations without solely going back to the government or the investors to gain money to replace items or renovate.
The charging toll can work as follows;
Artists register themselves to certain Art Space Facilities based on the location they live in, they pay 1,000 for 4 hours to use the facility, The facility only operates for 16 hours that means, the same artist can't use the facility in a day more than 8 hours (this is to allow more artists to have reach and space to also create). Ex: 50 artists spend 8 hours will be 100,000tsh generated for 8 hours, if other 50 artists also spend 8 hours thats a total of 200,000tsh from 100 artists for a total of 16 hours.
The money generated there from artists will go back into renovations of the facility. The best paintings will be sold, some internally and the most breathtaking internationally and splits will be done between the government and the painter and that will also create a market for new businesses in the art industry in Tanzania as well as welcome heavy investment from art lovers.
Artists are dreamers and Tanzanian has so many dreamers, the art spaces will take teenagers out of the streets into a safe environment for them to grow, it will give younger kids a place to see their dreams being a reality, it will give the older generations a place to buy as well as refresh their minds, it will create multiple art museums and auctions that can now freely take place, Tanzania in 5 years will be very far and could actually see the art sector be one of the most expanding and profitable industries in the country.

- Building an art recreational space that can hold 100 painters at once and each one of them has a space to create. These spaces can be converted from the multiple abandoned warehouse
- Turning open spaces into outside creative areas for sculptures to use to make vases and etc
- Promoting art into the media and giving the best artists (from painting to fine arts to sketches) award ceremonies.
Afterwards the other question may come inform of finding investment to actually push these programs.
- The government can take a loan or invest some of its unused millions to create these areas, an investment of 1 million dollars (2 billion tsh) can be used to renovate over 50 warehouses to fit good standard spaces for artists while also providing accessories for them.
- Large private companies can also investment the a certain sum of money and in return get to be the artists negotiators when selling the paintings, sculptures. This gives both the investment company returns and guves the artists a station for him tomwork on his craft.
