I didn't say its raila,I said those regional kingpin have invested heavily outside their region ,and can't afford to lose everything they have worked for simply because raila did not win.I understand your grievances I know you guys have brainwashed ,and you think that other tribes are the cause for your failures .somebody lied to you that you can only become a millionaire if raila became the president. for your information I don't care who is behind it weather its raila or Ndii you are domed to fail cause your are failures together with your vitendawili father.

Nimeibeza vipi katiba yenu, Mimi nimeuliza vp katiba yenu, mbona matokeo yanapingwa, tunasikia makelele mob toka Kisumu, watu wanataka kujitenga.
Ndio nikahoji ni aje aje?

For how many years now has biafra championed for a secession from Nigeria??
How many years has sahrawi been championing for a secession from Morocco??
Kenya was not made of small states brought together to form a country like the likes of Nigeria. On what basis would they push for a secession??

Poa wacha nitumie economics tuone ukweli. lakini let me say that nimecalculate kwa kichwa na naona those world bank figures are a joke. Inasema ati GDP ya Nairobi ni $4 billion (yaani 4 billion dollars).
Of course that is a big joke.
Nimecalculate hivi:
GDP= GDP per capita * population size.
kwa hivyo:

Assuming Nairobi iko na 4 million people then:
GDP ya Nairobi = ($1, 081 * 4, 000, 000)= $4.32 billion.
(which is a big joke.)

Finally calculating Nairobi GDP as a percentage of Kenya's GDP (assuming Kenya's gdp is $70 billion)
Nairobi/Kenya (GDP) = $3.24 billion/$70 billion =0.046. That is 4.6 %. Uniambie kama hio si kurogwa. Nairobi haiwezi kuwa na 4% GDP ya Kenya.
Ata tuki assume Kenya ina GDP ya $50 billion bado tunapata figure ya 6%.
Hebu cheki:
$3.24 billion/$50 billion = 0.064. That is 6.4 %. Uniambie kama hio si kichaa.
Many people don't question world bank figures but it's not good to accept everything. Unless nimefanya mistake, kama ni hivyo then point out the mistake otherwise kaa ukijua hizo figures aren't accurate.

I have given you numbers from the world bank....whether you choose to believe them or not is not upto me.....but personally I would rather believe the world bank than a half baked kenyan journalist graduate claiming that Nairobi contributes 60% to our national GDP. I think you guys are confusing GDP with GNI

Viewing Kenya politics as mortal combat between Kenyatta and Odinga dynasty is simplistic. Issues run much deeper hasa ardhi.

Tatizo kubwa Kenya linaanzia kwenye hizo familia mbili, nakuhakikishia kama NASA wangeishia kumchagua kiongozi mwengine yeyote, usingeona huu ushindani uliojaa kichaa.

No. The rivalry runs deeper than that. This assessment is wrong and too simplistic.

Doesn't look or smell good for Kenyans jamani...There is an under current of discontent based on the response of this idea...Whatever you decide do it peacefully....Rumblings like these can sometimes fuel and ignite disaster...Remember a certain African Republic near you.... Seems to me a substantial quotient of the population are dissatisfied with the system...Tribalism isn't helping either...As a neighbour am keenly watching these unfolding events...Wishing you peace....

Top Richest counties in Kenya according to world bank: From Richest to Poorest of all 47 counties.
World Bank senior authors Tom Bundervoet, Laban Maiyo and Apurva Sanghi just released statistics of the top richest counties according to GDP per capita. Kiambu is ranked as the richest county in Kenya.
Although Nairobi has the highest overall wealth it is not the top richest county in Kenya because of its high population. This implies that the dependence level is higher than supply.
Mombasa and Nairobi are also not among the top richest counties in Kenya because they have zero agricultural GDP as per the 2009 census classifications.
Top Richest Counties in Kenya 1-47
1. Kiambu: $1,785
2. Nyeri: $1,503
3. Kajiado: $1,466

Even in religion, the one who questions his own religion and the purpose of his religion almost always ends up bieng the true believer.... No one should just blindly be patriotic, we must ask these questions as Kenya's, we must be willing to think of the idea of what if we did this or that, what would the s scenario look like.... Only then can we then come back more stronger with more resolve to make things much better than the current situation
Thank you!!

Yeah but the source of all this rivalry, am trying to think of a competition between say Kalonzo VS Ruto would it bring all this madness?

And that constitution does not say that an inch of Kenya can get away if it so wish. Kenya is a country and no state came together to form it, even in that katiba you mention in some other clauses itakupinga ,,,,but we are free society you can talk anything you want ,kama kuongea kutafanya moyo wako uwe mwepesi .

I was refering to the rivalry btwn the Kikuyus and the Luos. This hatred and mistrust doesnt really exist bcos of the Kenyattas and the Odingas political competition. Rather they exploit it for their political expediencies.

It is an issue that is running deep, hard to understand and decode, which was in existence when Kenya was still under the yoke of colonialism. Tom Mboya's wrote about it in his book; Challenges of Nationhood.

Even if both political families were to exit the stage....(clearly, these are really the sunset years of their domination of the Kenyan politics), the animosity will still persist, except that probably it will be simmering beneath the surface.

This persistent animosity will still remain, and for a very long time be exploited by subsequent politicians seeking the top leadership of our country, whether they will be hailing from these two communities or not. Politicians like Ruto and Kalonzo will still exploit this Luo- Kikuyu divide, that is the cheapest and the most surefire means of remaining ahead in the Kenyan politics, unfortunately.

But Kenya will not disintegrate bcos of this two communities, or the the alleged marginalization of the other regions of Kenya.
This debate will peter out in just a couple of days.

We squabble over many things in this country, tell each other very outrageous things, but we really love this country, even tho we may not stand each other. No Kenyan would in real sense countenance any idea of secession, these are just political rubble- rousing and blackmail by some few frustrated lots.

Logania usiogope sana. Wakenya wanatoa joto tu lakini mwisho wa siku watarejea kazini. Hakuna vita
