Peoples Republic Of Kenya v Central Republic of Kenya

Peoples Republic Of Kenya v Central Republic of Kenya

What hatred? I didnt mention any tribe I talked about my grandfather! Mine! Fighting for the independence of Kenya was an individual decision! The whole useless secessionist agenda is just another moniker for 'I hate kikuyus soo much!' When you want to secede you dont draw the maps yourselves, neither do you award names to the other side! Eti Central Republic of Kenya! We will remain Kenya and you and your Joshua can go and call yourselves Tibim Republic or Canaan or even Ndialala! Whatever you fancy just go and leave us in peace!
Habouring a lot of bile than ndii himself.calling others lazy and am pretty sure some of those "lazy" people from the regions you call backward kenyans have much more money, money you could just dream of.save your negative energy its not a remedy

You sound so bitter son. Cool down your bile. The tycoons you're fighting for would never let you close to their home gates.

Shit! If this goes through and possessions repossessed by rival govts, some of us will be screwed economically

Dialogue, dialogue, dialogue, it's amazing how many disasters can be averted by dialogue. if certain regions feel left out then rotational presidency could aid them.

And the western regions of Kenya though not as marginalised as northern and Eastern parts, they have been marginalised none the less. Save for after the devolution period, major road projects were last implemented in the 80s, numerous factories processing raw products from these regions were either relocated to central areas or shut down all together to disenfranchise them. They only didn't surfer as adversely as say the turkana because the land there is fertile so they were actually needed to feed the nation
Hahahahaaaaaa! Ati rotational presidency? You do realize that it would take 430yrs for the 43rd tribe to take over the reign of leadership in this country? Kwanza who will decide which tribes will come first, and which tribe would be willing to wait at the end of the queue?

Bad idea bro. Meritocracy should be the basis of our choosing our president, with his/her govt inclusive of all the tribes in Kenya, and by that I mean equal shareout of govt positions and the national cake.

I quite agree with you... rotational presidency imetushinda Tanzania (between Tanzania Mainland & Zanzibar), I wonder, mtu anaongelea rotation within 43 tribes? Au labda alikuwa anamaanisha rotation between Luos and Kikuyu, and what about the rest? Sometimes politicians wanatakiwa kuheshimu maamuzi ya wapiga kura for the sake of the nation hata kama hawakuyatarajia.

Suppose ikubalike, here are the numbers. Total pop 48m GDP $70B) Est
The People's Republic of Kenya - Pop 28 million - GDP $48 Billion* (with Nairobi)
Central Republic of Kenya - Pop 18 million - GDP $22 Billion

This is a bad idea that can never see the light of the day but let's not use it to spew hatred.

Hii dunia kuna watu hawawezi kubali kushindwa wanaotaka kumfata kama vipofu wamfate tu! Watuondokee, watuwache na amani yetu na nchi yetu!

Son? I have young ones who call me dad so dont patronise me! If you decide to join Raila's dog, Ndii in his tribalistic agenda do it to the last point. Kenya belongs not to us but to our sons and daughters! My sons dont belong to any tribe coz they are mixed! Show our young ones some respect or go away for real!

Ok guys cool down...lets take a break from the hate for a day.. (you can do it..just believe it)..I was young child when I heard a certain community being called cooks and watchmen.. (non Kenyan person here)...even at that age found that uncomfortable...so roll forward a few decades later...I actually know a good number of people of that tribe who are millionaires...I think Kenyans generalise and are heavily prejudiced about each other.. Just need to respect each other and be fair, perhaps intermarry and stop telling your kids negative ***t about each other...My two cents worth on solving tribalism...Try to see just 1 good thing about each other...Unity is strength

It's very obvious that certain groups of tribes are aligned politically and thus empowered or disenfranchised as a unit. I'm certain an average luo wouldn't mind a luhya president just as an average Kikuyu wouldn't mind a meru president. Rotational presidency split region wise could work for if the status quo prevails, some certain elements will keep on tinkering towards cessation. By that I mean if someone from the western/Nyanza region led this time round, it would be advisable that they relinquish the reigns for atleast 2 or so terms.

As it is, tribal (and family) affinity and not meritocracy are the determinants of our leaders. This locks out hosts of very viable candidates on the basis of which tribe (region in reality) they're from.

Western/Nyanza is not made up of one tribe ,we have got kisii's ,kuria's, luhya's,teso's ,and the radical luo , if a luo rules that one does not mean that luhya or kisii nor kuria should not rule simple because they are from western Kenya .

You mean now your katiba does not work fine for you, isn't?
