You need to do some research before laying bare your ignorance on a subject. Which taxed did Kenyans pay to construct this road. Kenya will not spend a dime on this road coz it's 100% funded from China and that's why they'll be operating it for those years to recoup their investment.Bongo tolls zipo. Kabla ya kuanza mradi kama huo, first and foremost you should have a study on ability and willingness to pay. It's not a common thing in Afrika, coz people think that road is a public good/asset. It's non rival and non excludable. Ton and Dicky can use the facility. The people also have the feeling that, the particular asset is a result of their taxes. They will think, we paid tax which used to put this asset, why should we pay tolls?
In developed economies the issue of toll roads is not uncommon. There are several, also the private roads.
