Pictures that showcase Kenya’s amazing history

Wow... very interesting images

Thanks for that history lesson

I'd have blamed you but having read your post, it's evident that you've never been to Nairobi. So I'll give you a benefit of doubt. What our brother Light Yagami has presented is what I call pure history and I thank him for that.

Looking at the illustrations provided above in pictures, that's just but a shell of the current Nairobi. By that time, the whole of upper hill, wetlands and the surrounding suburbs where either bushes or probably coffee plantations. And this you've not included the expensive eastlands and three quarters of industrial area if not all. These are areas where wild animals used to roam freely.

A classic examples above, compare Mombasa road of then and now. How about the view of ngong hills from Nairobi?. It will force you to take the same picture atop a sky scraper as of now, use a drone etc.

Waweza kuwa wasema ukweli. Unajua uzuri wa kitu huwa unatofautiana kutoka kwa mtu mmoja hadi mwingine. Na maoni hapa huwa inakubalika.

Good history, very interesting,
What I can personally Analyse is that Nairobi was far better planned, clean and Organised that it is today, yaani mmeharibu mji, mmeufanya unanuka na kujaza mabati ya Kibera,
Kwa picha hizi ni ushahidi tosha kuwa Nairobi ilishajengwa na wazungu, hamna kitu mmeongezea..
Thanks for this and I'd request someone to do this for dar as well.
