Jf stakeholders it is with deep regrets that some aspirants after years of independence are threateaning to demolish soveregnity of our beloved country when they loose the race in the forthcoming by planning the unthinkable. What is the future of the nation.

hey mate, it is in the same breath that i steer clear of all political maneuvering. Its no secret that Kenya is facing a very real and possible threat that might put her existence into limbo if Uhuruto realize their dream. The proxy wars are so robust; western elements so vocal and if anything is to go buy i forsee a very well oiled opposition like no other in this Kenyan history. Anyway, i sit back and take my cofee as it unfolds.....Uhuruto may end up facing a dinossaur via proxy wars......
PSSST....i wont be shocked to see a Raila, Peter Kenneth, Mudavadi and maybe Martha Karua Alliance. Its too early to clear the mist, the real financiers of Kenya politics havent spoken. Tells u how "independent" we really are. SMH with disappointment!!!
 

Viola! what do you know, Yes mate western elements are so vocal on reforms and what have you hoping to direct and maintain the tune. But regarding "PSSST....i wont be shocked to see a Raila, Peter Kenneth, Mudavadi and maybe Martha Karua Alliance." plus you forgot kalonzo and co, it quite early to tell whether these candidates will form an alliance or if they have managed to maintain contact with those outside political financing. It will be a marriage of fateful alliance. But nways, under six months Kenya's soveriegnity and independence will be put to the test.

at this point and hour, all i receive are mixed signals scrambled to counter the new lovebirds all at the behest of a western financed bankers cheque. Btw they do communicate; very frequently and with a resolve.
in the viewership of the above and of which is shared elsewhere via grapevines; its coming to the realization of many planners that Uhuruto made there political alliance too soon. Just like an orgasm, it should have been expected (feels nice dancing in the sun) but also delayed (keeps schemers at bay) waiting for the right second, minute and muscle twitch.....scratch that!!!
Back to topic, since there cards are officially out, they (UHURUTO) have no choice but build a better team say with more tangible political face. Else am expecting a mother of all alliances running up to the GE.
You know where that leads this fragile democracy, hope not the 2007 madness, 40 vs 2.
SOLUTION: Uhuruto need to form tangible alliances before the "Uhuruto" euphoria fades out,......i.e. When other politicians are most gullible. Get as many like minded big whips e.g. Cemetery thief Muda, fading Kalonzo the "traitor", Iron fist Martha, who knows...even PK (new kid in the block) is an upcoming Tiger and whom can be used effectively by ODM to sway the moderates.
Finally, alil off topic; we have a virgin coast province that Ruto perceives he has absolute dominion over courtsey of Makwere; thats a false feel of might....some of the ODM followers such as Joho are very popular too and vocal about MRC. add that up to Odingas give it anything attitude and never mind about Kenyas territorial integrity & tell me how you see this maneno flowing. See where we stand, its tricky....nothing is permanent in politics if the vibe aint flowing.....means more and more lies are in the pipelines or more stupid coalitions.

A UhuRuto presidency should never be condoned! I have not heard of anyone lobbying for air strikes but it is no secret that crippling sanctions are to follow if the two warlords are to MUSCLE their way to statehouse. A Raila, Peter Kenneth pact will in fact be beneficial for the country.

this is another blacksheep, in doing so he forgets he was a the commander of a lynching committee. Who said this guy was innocent; black africans jameni.....Anyway i dont blame him, he is doing the devils bidding and with it sinking Rwanda the more.
 
Mekatilili well said but since 2008/07 elections presidential contenders have shown that they can do virtually anything, even the unthinkable to ascend to power. It is no doubt that we are yet to see more unfold as the period for election nears. I doubt whether Raila is the full metal he was back in 2006/07, and teaming up with Peter Kenneth is the worst thing he can currently opt for. Peter Kenneth full of vision, charming and intellectual still does not have the metal to lead the country. It is no doubt that Raila knows Ruto owns 95% of RV votes and still will do anything to charm him back to ODM.
 

Talking of ecstasy my friend, A politician is a politician, and they will do anything for votes. Uhuru and Ruto have proven to be the tigers of Kenyan politics even under adversitiy, they still are not shaken like the gullible Kalonzos and Muthamas of this world. But I think the pact between Uhuru and Ruto is timely and puts their political contenders in an akward position to state their position and their running mates, the rest is left to watch keenly opponents movement, "courting patterns" strategy ..etc..etc.

Sijui anangoja nini na hizi vitendawili zake kila uchao; he is the fairest real deal to an acceptable change in power. Anyway, he is still a f***in politician like the rest but at this worrying times, ad rather vote for him than sell Kenya to the dogs.

Nairoberry, Kenya has not yet reached that level. I like the idea but you are sitting at the fence, They can not be automatically burried, if they is nthing to counteract the euphoria menace.:bowl:

I would rather stay in a country that is democratically peaceful and self reliant, than vouche for external components that want to make the country disintergrates into fractious units.

I still believe in *black-hawk-down-trilogy-mythology, again; this time in our favor Kenyana. Not forgetting uncle K'Obama has numerous chores awaiting him at his desk to ponder (Iran and Syria and more recently to slow the iron grip of Alqaida in Mali). Though I have one problem of current western policies of quietly enveloping islamic terrorism as in the case of libya/Benghazi

Raila is a shrewd politician, knowing exactly that his party has bled major heavywights, his is a watch-and-see strategy Knowing the two horse race mythology is bluff while confounding political opponents with the ICC; If Those other young politicians can catch a glimpse of history, each will seek his own cause plus congress is vouching for Muda. We have young turks like PK and OK and martha, that still have time and need to get their hands dirty. people need to be exposed enough.

I used to be a staunch supporter of RAO until i realized he was just as corrupt and even less informed than kibaki. seriously this guy just says whatever he wants without thinking. when kenya went to somalia the fool goes to israel to seek for support, then there was the whole AU meeting debacle that made him get thrown out of the meeting, there was also the time the idiot went to germany to look for some looser coach to come and coach the national football team, now he changes his stance on the hague and this week he goes to a meeting with kalenjin elders and tells them that he will ensure the hague cases are brought back to kenya, he now wants an alliance with ruto. The main question is even if ruto is his running mate won't he still go to the hague. he talks about tribal cocoons but he is one of the key drivers. his party ODM as one person (kajwang ) put it is odinga's democratic movement is nothing but tribal just go to the prime ministers office and you will be shocked. There was also the whole MRC saga where one minute he is talking about listening to them the next is arrest them and what about sacking a hard working minister and putting another who isn't doing anything case in point balala, when he was the minister for tourism we had a record number of tourists now it is going down after Mwazo was put there.He is quick to tell others to resign after a corruption scandal has been exposed but when one of his friends is implicated he keeps quiet.This man has no idea what is going on in the country if he were to be president he would worse then kibaki not knowing what is going on in his government if you were to look at the corruption going on in the prime ministers office you would realize that he probably doesn't have a hand in it but is clueless as to what his cronies are doing.with Raila the gaffes will never end

As for the other two warlords they have no choice but to go to the Hague even if they win and by the way things are going they look sure to win i just fear that the countries rep will be ruined . we shall be known as the people who elected war lords. There will be no sanctions placed on kenya, reason being kenya is strategic in this corner of the globe isolating it would be disastrous. if sanctions were put they would only target the intended parties involved not the entire Kenyan population. look at Sudan sanctions were only targeted at the leadership. Their economy is at 5.1% GDP growth and that is even without western investments. All their top 5 investors are from Asia making about 80% of foreign investment. this happened due to sanctions and embargos put on them by the west in the 1990's in return they turned eastwards for investments. Going by the recent trends in kenyas foreign investment it is almost evenly balanced between east and west and considering that a lot of money has been pumped into oil exploration and other ventures i seriously doubt that these giant investors won't put any pressure on their government to avoid sanctions. especially in the oil market. if you look at how sanctions are enforced you will notice that as long as you have the resources and "considerable" support from your people nobody is going to touch you e.g Bahrain and how they brutally cracked down on the opposition even Zimbabwe which was crippled by sanctions greatly recovered after investment from the east particularly china forced the west to reconsider their tact and remove sanctions (GDP growth is at around 9%). Cuba is also another funny case. It would shock many people to find out that Cuba is a middle income economy with a GDP one and a half times that of Kenya and a population 1/4 of Kenya's entire population, a per capita income 5 times that of Kenya. Sanctions have failed for the west and they are unlikely to use them in our case. I'm guessing the whole air strike heading is for dramatic effect

A uhuru/ruto presidency is coming and we have to accept that, lets just hope and pray that this country isn't led to ruins. The question is what if the two were to disagree on an issue while still in power would violence breakout or if they were found guilty then what or what if one is found guilty and another innocent. Having looked at other international tribunals on war crimes the Kenyan case may not even come close to in comparison and evidence wise it is still a sharp contrast from others e.g Srebrenica massacre in Bosnia where evidence was found in plenty even video footage. this is just my opinion but in my view the case proceedings may last 5 years. the Congolese warlord Thomas lubanga's case lasted for 6 years after the per-trial chamber found that he had a case to answer that was from 2006-2012 when he was finally sentenced. So the for ruto and uhuru they may not be saved by the presidency unless they plan to be re-elected if they win. the statement by ruto that "case za hague zitafanyika huko 2050" will forever be a joke to many maybe he meant 2015 and we misheard him.

Peter Kenneth is the best option but sadly he is very unlikey to win maybe if Jesus came down and became his running mate he may have a slight chance of winning and i am stressing the term slight
 
Eish ndugu whatever happened to the term, territorial integrity or soveriegnty; all this words not forgetting the word republic are being prepeared to be hanged to the hall of fame?! is it?!.... Keep in mind there exists no democracy in netherlands/hague/ICC/rotterdam/amsterdam..yes .... you name it the way you want.

......From 1500 AD upto now netherlands have been effetively running a dual government...Which phrase do we use to refer to that a coalition government..............................................................................Yes!..Eish JokaKuu uko wapi you give us your balanced view on the above statement.
 
Kabaridi, i rarely go into fractious political engagement with ya. loaded mkenya1987 coming hot in the heels to salvage the situation but am not convinced yet. What is this territorial integrity maneno ndugu when its no secret people were slaughtered in Kenya? What is the independence clause being invoked supposed to satisfy? we Kenyans or a political select?
We as a nation are a net import economy, we are doing badly already. Assume the west pulls out, how will we make a get back or pull a grand standing? How long will it take for us to assimilate into an ethno~asian market? Finally, how did Raila send Uhuruto to hague? Werent they all in cabinet? Who said lets not be vague lets go to the hague. Am no luo but if shove comes to push am taking the stupid liar Raila, he can please the west and save our economy.
Sudan took two decades without the west to stand on its own and it has oil, possibly we wont extract ours if sanctions will be imposed by ICC. Secondly, islamic states disregard ICC to the boot. What of Kenya? Where will we get our tourists? Our number one forex exchange earner? Where will we sell our black tea? Who will be our new diplomatic immunity coz Russia never saves anyone and before China swallows us it will be after a couple of decades. Honestly, we will be on this by ourselves, you, me and our kids for a painstaking five years.....by the time these suspects will be done i guarantee you we will be in doldrums as a nation. All pointers show to a confirmation of Uhuruto cases and freezing of their assetts unless sth is sold in Kenya in exchange.
Am a patriot to boot but i need a miracle or grand speech by the duo hague bound to convince me otherwise. Joka kuu your expertise has been summoned. Waiting for it.

your idea of sanctions is greatly misinformed for a country to face harsh international sanctions which include things such as complete trade embargo. That country must be pretty fcuked up you can't compare north korea type sanctions with the situation in Kenya. Even the US is trying to establish ties with countries that have pretty much nazi like human rights records an example Myanmar. As for sanctions i highly doubt that the UN security council will ever discuss kenya in any of its meetings. If you looks at permanent member countries in the UN security council China, Russia, UK, US and France do you really think that they will agree on sanctions if they failed to agree with the whole Syria debacle which is pretty grave the only think the west did was to freeze Syrian state accounts abroad .do you think they will agree with a small issue like Kenya. I am not trying to minimize the horror witnessed in 2007 but stating a fact.Sanctions are usually issued against an entire country when government policy is in contravention of international law e.g SA- Apartheid, Iraq (oil for food program)-bio weapons facility, Libya 1980's- chemical and nuclear program, Sudan 1997- mysterious weapons program, Iran today- Iran nuclear weapons program.

If the western countries try to go it alone with sanctions like in Iran presently. We would have to have done something pretty Fcuked up to incur their wrath like start a biological weapons program or some really kinky stuff like a holocaust, Start a nuclear weapons program or pull a Mugabe and kick all their white brothers out of Kenya, or ape an Amin and do away with the Asians . We are still small time compared to some countries in Africa. Go to Gambia the nut job yahya jammeh who is known for his probable syphilis induced madness and a grave violator of human rights the guy with his God complex thinks he can cure AIDS and yet the west has never done anything against him.

My point is for a country to face such harsh sanctions that you have mentioned you must be a real badass. The sanctions Sudan faced in the 90's was due to a secretive weapons factory and also because they were believed to be a state that finances terrorism it covered some aspects of trade.The resent Sudanese sanctions did not apply to their trade but rather the alleged perpetrators their families and their assets abroad not the entire country only those who had a hand in support of the janjaweed militia in Darfur. In Kenya's case the two "warlords" have not refused to appear before the ICC like in the Sudan and thus cannot be subject to sanctions. If the two became president and deputy president they will not be subject to any penalties if they continue to show up to their hearings but if they don't they will likely be arrest warrant issued and if they hide in the country like Bashir then sanctions maybe put forth by the west against their families, assets and themselves not the country. Remember one is innocent until proven guilty so using sanctions against a person who is co-operating with the court process is against the rule of justice. Hence there will be no collective punishment for Kenya as a whole as suggested
