There is a big difference between those rich bafoons who owns half the country empty land and the rest staying in squarters like your fellow kenyan said...Mo dewji has used his wealth to create more jobs than any other indivifdual in east africa..so kudos to him wealth individuals like him are not only to be protected but also celebrated

“I am going to invest more than $500 million over the next 4 years to employ over 100,000 people across Africa by 2021 with a significant majority of those jobs coming to Tanzanians,” Dewji said in a conversation with this writer.

Dewji, 41, continues to be one of the key players in private sector-led development in the country, well known for being a leader in local employment and manufacturing in East and Central Africa. His conglomerate, the METL Group, now operates in over 35 industries as diverse as trading, agriculture, manufacturing, energy and petroleum, financial services, mobile telephony, infrastructure and real estate, transport, logistics and distribution.

To date, MeTL Group currently employs 28,000 people, translating to approximately 2% of formal private sector employment in the country, from MeTL Group alone. This makes Dewji the second biggest employer in the country after the Government of Tanzania.

Unachokisema kina maana kubwa sana mkuu, lakini ni jukumu la mabilionea kuhangaika na hao unaowaita poor Tanzanians na poor Kenyans? Kama wanafanya kazikwa mujibu wa sheria, wanalipakodi, wanatoa ajira sioni tatizo. Kuwa na Mabilionea wanaokuza uchumi wa nchi ni bora kwa nchi husika, utawalazimisha hao masikini kubadili wanavyowaza na kujitafutia fursa au namna ya kubadili vipato vyao? Siamini kwamba kwa sababu kuna watu wana pesa nyingi, wanazuia moja kwa moja au kufanya wengine wasipate pesa.

Tungetumia hii kama changamoto kuona kwamba kwanini isiwe mimi, wamewezaje? Inequality ipo hadi mbinguni mkuu, kwa mujibu wa maandiko kutakua na madaraja pia. Juhudi yako inakufikisha popote.

I second you, bse Kenyatta's family is among the family who never hustled like the Dangotes! So to put them in rank doesn't hold water. That's why they sued NGUNGI WA THIONG after writing 'I will marry when I want.' They earned a lot of land through the blood of others.

Inategemea na economic system of a country maana ukiweka comparisons between Kenya and Tanzania utakuwa kwa kiasi fulani unakosea.....

We have a same probleme wic quite different situation and im not arguing against what you have said but we have to look this situation in a better picture..
The guy may hold de high proportion of the national wealth but still have alittle influence in the well being of a common mwananchi who is living in rural areas since the substution effects of resources is still low due to their abudance especially land...

Kenya have a little land suitable for agriculture compared to Tz and bad enough that land is still used for commercial purpose based on crops which can not help in improving the welfare of the people which in return left the mass with a little or no land to sustain their needs ,This is also different from Tanzania in which the mass still hold enough land to sustain themselves by cultivating food crops such as maize which in return improve their welfare ...kwa mfano Tanzania ni nchi yenye ng'ombe wengi next to Ethiopia lakini nina uhakika ng'ombe wengi wapo mikononi mwa watu wengi na sio ranches owned by few individuals ..

Umaskini Tz upo lakini hauchangiwi kwa kiasi kikubwa na class struggles...
siasa ndo uchafu wetu with limited visionary leaders na hata sectors kama agriculture kutegemea zaidi peasants ambao hawana uwezo wa kucommand value of their production ,infrastructures though hapa naona tatizo hili linaisha kwa kasi na baadhi ya common issues za African countries...
