since when is this scenario clicking in ur head? must be cause he named a road after Kibaki i guess, a demonstration of how Kenya has a long way to go to fight deeply rooted tribalism if a young guy like u has this to say!

I don't support the naming of a Tanzanian road after any Kenyan politician or after anything Kenyan. I don't oppose it either. This is wholly a Tanzanian thing and it's Tanzanians only who should have a say on how their roads are named, not Kenyans. Surely, Kibaki himself was against people naming things constructed by the government after themselves and even criticized Moi for that.

For the ten years he has been in power, nothing has been named after him. He even turned down a suggestion to have the newly built Thika superhighway named after him.

All I can say is that no one is forcing any Tanzanian to name any of their roads after someone and if they choose to name it after Kibaki, then it's all upon them and none of our business. After all it's not like any Kenyan is excited about that.
