The President of Republic Kenya H.E. Mwai Emilio Kibaki is to visit Tanzania on a state visit for two days from 20/02/2013. While in Tanzania at an invitation of the President of Tanzania Mr Kibaki will have a meeting with his host at the state house. He will then visit the Ukonga Prison to see the conditions of inmates also he will inaugurate the opening of a new road named after him. Mr Kibaki is expected to fly back to his home country on 21/02/2013.

President to inaugurate Kibaki road in Tanzania visit
President Kibaki is in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania for a two-day state visit.
The President was received at the Julius Nyerere International Airport by President Jakaya Kikwete before inspecting a guard of honour mounted the Tanzanian Defence Forces.
In Tanzania, the Head of State will hold bilateral talks with President Kikwete at Dar-es-Salaam State House before inaugurating a new road named in his honour.
During the talks, the two leaders will review the progress made towards advancing shared interests through the Joint Commission for Cooperation (JCC) framework.
President Kibaki will also tour Ukonga Maximum prison to experience first hand the on-going prisons reforms.
He is scheduled to hold talks with Elders of Dar-es-Salaam.
The President will also use the visit to bid farewell to the government and the people of Tanzania, as his term as Kenyan President ends.
The Head of State is accompanied by Cabinet Ministers Sam Ongeri and Joseph Nyaga among other senior government officials and also some representatives of the business community.
The President was received at the airport by Kenyans residing in Tanzania led by Kenya's High Commissioner to Tanzania Ambassador Mutinda Mutiso.

The construction of the Nyegezi, St Augustine University Road by Nyanza Road Works was officially opened by Hon. Raila Odinga, Minister of Works of Kenya. He was accompanied by Hon. John Magufuli, Minister of Works of Tanzania, also accompanying the two ministers was the Chief Executive of Tanroads F Y Addo Abedi. I call these events diplomacy, there was already a visit by RAO and a visit of Dr Magufuli in ODM presidential nomination that arouse everyone's imagination of a break of a protocol by Dr Magufuli. So to rescind that mistake Kibaki is now given a red carpet farewell. Mind u, t

here is already Raila Odinga Grounds at St Augustine University of Tanzania. And all have been instrumented by none than other this man (in the RAO right hand and present in every picture except the first one) to diffuse the tension that exists now!
