JF team,

I am very glad to have such a huge team around here, its time that your advise is highly needed, im a graduate in human resources management -masters of course, with masscommunication backgound i love teaching.

Last month i did approach one university chancellor and told him my desires, unfortunately he refused to accept me as a teacher insteady he advised me to go for my PHD in management, there after i could come and help in building the nation through education, so im asking for guys inside here, should i take that advise directly or continue searching for teaching opportunity?

Wow so you love teaching?I do so too coz am also taking masters in education(Bachelor of Arts in Education)currently and am in the same boat as yours. If your passion is teaching the go for it,don't look back,am also doing the same mkubwa.

I think you should continue searching for a job first..try to visit as many colleges as u can n talk to academic heads...show them ur cv

May God give u strength. I'm also thinking of PhD though I got no passion of teaching.

You love teaching at which level? How are you scores as far as I know the minimum GPA for one to be employed as a lecturer or assistant lecturer
Or tutorial assistant is 3.7 or 3.5. To teach at lower levels you must have either a diploma or certificate in education. So the ball is in your court if you don't have what it takes to be a teacher in both levels work on the required credentials.
