very talented and well organized classical music performers in tanzania and east africa(I'm not sure about east africa though)

Yes! I first saw them on the BBC Focus on Africa program. That is when I first knew that there's a symphony orchestra in Dar.
In Kenya we have a number of classical orchestras, the oldest, and probably the most reknowned is the Nairobi Philharmonic Ochestra, in existence since 1947.
