R.I.P Kenneth Matiba. Atleast he passed on having already forgiven former president Moi and his stooges for what happened to him when he was their political prisoner. It takes a great man to do such a thing.

KSN Matiba, Reformist politician who hailed from my home county of Murang'a. The first presidential candidate to boycot a fraud election and burn his voter's card, a statement of defiance to impunity. Raila Odinga follows closely having boycotted 2017 elections. RIP
And joined hands with Jubilee Government😀😀😀

I normaly dont discuss personalities, But their Comming together with Uhuru is only as good as the results, that is
1) End ethnic politics
2)Jail corrupt thieves from both sides
3)Create political stability akin to other nations who are economically doing well like Tanzania
The rest is porojo, siasa za pesa nane. Raila as a person also has shortcomings but currently he is the only reformist withing the kenyan political space..and from history, he has shaken hands with his foes, but he has also unshaken them as well

RIP Uncle Ken. I was in school when Matiba was detained. You could feel the somber mood countrywide even among students. The young Turks like Muite and Orengo kept the defiancé spirit burning. In them we saw hope and hope came eventually.
RIP Matiba. No going back to dictatorship!
