Spanish hotelier chooses Tanzania to make its international debut
On February 14, the SBH Kilindini Resort will open its doors, a five-star hotel located on the northwest coast of the island of Zanzibar

The Spanish company SBH Hotels & Resorts , which until now had nine establishments located on the islands of Fuerteventura and Lanzarote, has chosen another island to make its international debut: Tanzania.
On February 14, the SBH Kilindini Resort, a five-star establishment located in Pwani Mchangani, on the northwest coast of the island of Zanzibar, will open its doors.
The hotel, which is sold on an all-inclusive basis, has 80 rooms with an African style, but with all the comforts such as air conditioning, four-poster bed with mosquito net, TV, safe, hairdryer, telephone and minibar.
SBH Kilindini Resort Room
It has swimming pools and direct access to the beach. It also has a main restaurant and several snack-bars, including one on the beach (with theme restaurant service at night).
Sunrise Beach Hotels (SBH) belongs to the PSH business group (Grupo Pérez Saavedra Hermanos). The hotel company was promoted by Gregorio Pérez Alonso , a businessman whose origins are focused on the cultivation and export of tomatoes and the sale of plots, but who in 1984 took his first steps in the tourism sector with the construction of the Hotel Taro Beach, in Costa Calma. (Fuerteventura). It was not until 1987 that he made the leap to hotel management with the commercial brand Sunrise Beach Hotels and the Taro Beach and Monica Beach hotels.
