- Kiambu Governor- elect William Kabogo has asked Prime Minister Raila Odinga to accept the outcome of the just concluded Presidential election and avoid humiliation after the Supreme Court verdict next week.
Addressing a meeting with national Government and County Departments on Thursday, Kabogo also told Raila not to bring up court cases in political rallies.
Raila should know the elections are over and Kenyans are back at work earning their living. Discussing issues which are before the Supreme Court is prejudicial. He should let Kenya move on awaiting the courts decision, Kabogo said.
Kabogo also asked Raila to presents fact to court to prove that he worn by a margin of one million votes.
I dont believe there will be a run-off. Raila should respect Kenyans decision to elect Uhuru Kenyatta. He has been stooping so low by telling the public he won by a margin of 1 million. He should take the facts to court and let Kenyans go on with their daily activities, Kabogo said.
Kabogo, who is also the former Juja MP, said Raila Odingas political career is slowly fading and he should honourably retire with President Kibaki to avoid being embarrassed by young leaders.
