Rais Kagame amewafuta kazi Amiri Jeshi Mkuu, Kanali, na maofisa wa ngazi za juu19 wa jeshi na akivunja mikataba ya maafisa 195 wa ngazi za chini, kwa mujibu wa taarifa iliyotolewa na Jeshi la Ulinzi la Rwanda (RDF) Agosti 30, 2024.
