Real Madrid began preparations ahead of this Saturday's game against Athletic at the San Mamés stadium (6pm CET). Khedira joined up with the group for the first session of the week, in which Ancelotti was joined by Odegaard, Febas and Lienhart. Ramos and James continue to recover, Pepe, Marcelo, Carvajal and Benzema worked in the indoor facilities.

Casillas, Keylor Navas and Pacheco carried out specific training, stretches and muscle strengthening exercises before ball work drills. The outfield players that joined Ancelotti carried out different combinations and ball work exercises before playing various half-field matches during which they had to try and score into little goals that had been placed out on the pitch.
