Real Madrid complete their final session before El Clásico

The Whites finalised their preparations at Ciudad Real Madrid ahead of the La Liga match against Barcelona.

The squad underwent their last training session at Ciudad Real Madrid before the La Liga trip to face Barcelona at the Camp Nou in El Clásico (Sunday, 9pm CET). The emphasis was placed on ball work in the session. With Khedira still recovering from gastroenteritis and Coentrão suffering from the same problem, neither took to the training field. James continues with his recovery process.

With Casillas, Keylor Navas and Pacheco doing specific goalkeeper training, the outfield players at Ancelotti's disposal carried out warm-ups and muscle-strengthening routines, before moving on to ball drills. One and two-touch 'rondo' possession exercises saw the players practise quick circulation.
