Carlo:
-Against Valencia we'll need to defend and attack well.
-We'll field the best team possible; those who are in good shape and are not taking any risks
-It's a very important game, because we'd like to continue the run we're on and stay top of the table. It's a very, very important match.
-Valencia have shown that they're a very dangerous team at home.
-Ramos in pretty good shape, he has trained alone and now he has to train with the team. After training, we'll make a decision on whether he can play.We have a lot of games after the Valencia match and if there are risks he won't play
-Rotation?
"I think that it's essential. It allows us to avoid injuries and have a more motivated squad.
-Defensive work?
James has more physical characteristics for defensive work than Isco, but Isco has adapted very well. The mentality shown by everyone is very important in our defensive work
Jese? We lacked a player like him at the end of last season. He did very well when he played and now he's fully recovered and he will be very useful this season.

Carlo Ancelotti has named 21 players in his squad for Real Madrid's La Liga matchday 17 encounter with Valencia at Mestalla (Sunday, 5pm CET).

REAL MADRID SQUAD:
Goalkeepers: Casillas, Keylor Navas and Pacheco.
Defenders: Ramos, Pepe, Varane, Carvajal, Arbeloa, Coentrão, Marcelo and Nacho.
