Kenyans Have been ranked the happiest people in East Africa, the latest World Happiness study has revealed.
The study says Kenyans are more positive and hopeful than citizens of the other countries in the region.

According to the 2020 UN report, Kenya is ranked at position 121 out of 153 countries assessed. Uganda comes second at position 126, as Burundi is third at position 140, Tanzania (148) and Rwanda (150) while Sudan is the worst ranked in the region.

Ravaged by civil war and epidemic hunger, South Sudanese are the saddest people of all replacing Burundi which initially held position in 2018 and 2019 ranking.

Despite the oil business giving the youngest country in the continent hope; frequent political instability seems to have influenced the results making it the most awful country to live in. In the continent, Kenyans were ranked 18 in the happiness index.

Top in Africa are Libyans who are the happiest but ranked at position 80 globally followed by Ivory Coast citizens (85), Benin citizens (86), Congolese (88) and Ghanaians (91).

Nigerians (115) who ranked highly in 2019 happiest country index, lost their place to other West African countries such as Ivory Coast and Ghana.

Finland retained its top position globally, with Denmark, Switzerland, Iceland and Norway following in that order.
The rankings are based on several parameters, including social support, Gross Domestic Product, per capita income, life expectancy, freedom to make life choices, generosity and perception on corruption.

Majirani zetu huko kwao wanaishi kwa majungu kila siku, lini watapata hata fursa ya kutabasamu, kile huwaponza sana ni unafiki na uwoga, wanafiki sana, watakenua meno na kuonyesha kwamba mko pamoja, ila ukiondoka wanakusema balaa, halafu waoga sana, wengi wataisema serikali yao kwenye mitandao ila wakiombwa wajitokeze barabarani kuandamana, kunabaki kweupeee, kazi kuchungulia madirishani huku mapolisi/FFU yakifanya push up barabarani.

Huku Kenya mojawapo wa sababu za kwanini tuna furaha, huwa tunayatoa ya moyoni na kukuambia kama ilivyo, bila kuremba, unapewa posho lako ulibebe mwenyewe au uliteme. Tukiwa na matatizo na serikali, tunajitokeza barabarani na kuisema, polisi wanachoka wenyewe na kuachia.

Polisi wasikupe tabu maana kwa sasa tumewaachia uwanja, ila wenyewe wanafahamu muziki wa Wakenya, sisi sio waoga kama Watanzania, ila kwenye hili la Corona, ukweli ni kwamba kuna baadhi yetu Wakenya tumekua na tabia za hoyoo kama za Watanzania, kutojali na kuwa wazembe, leo asubuhi wakati nafanya mazoezi nimekua na ugomvi na kondakta wa daladala aliyekua anapokea abiria bila kuhakikisha wananawa mikono kama ilivyoagizwa, nimetamani sana polisi wakamate daladala lote na kila abiria humo wafunguliwe mashtaka.

Wakati huu wa Corona imebidi tuwaachie polisi wafanye yao, kuna hata Wakenya wanaomba tuingine kwenye lockdown kabisa. Lakini polisi wa Kenya wanatufahamu mziki wetu, wakuambie ilivyokua wakati Wakenya tulichoka utawala mbovu kama mnaofanyiwa na CCM huko kwenu, mapolisi walitamani kuihama nchi.

Mateso mnayopitia leo hii tuliyapitia miaka 20 iliyopita, tulipouchoka uongozi mbaya aisei nchi ilinuka, hata nyie CCM siku mtachokwa mtatamani kuikimbia Tanzania, sema kwa kawaida Watanzania waoga na ndio maana mumetajwa kwenye mataifa ambayo wananchi wake hawana furaha kabisa, maana mnaumia kwenye mioyo yenu na mumeshindwa kuisema.

Ona jameni mwanamke kiongozi wa upinzani dada Mdee anachezea virungu na kuburuzwa kama gunia la mkaa.
