Ministry of Defense: Russian armed forces destroyed four HIMARS devices that were about to attack.
A precision strike
"The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation carried out a group strike with high-precision weapons on US HIMARS missile systems, ready to strike the territory of Crimea. They also attacked the site of an official meeting of the command staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine", the defence ministry announced.
All targets hit
They attacked with precision weapons. Russian forces also hit the site of the official meeting of the command staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the targets were hit. They destroyed four HIMARS launchers, as well as the 35 foreign specialists who operated them.
They are continuing their attacks
The day before, the Russian military destroyed three HIMARS launchers that the Ukrainian Armed Forces used to attack Sevastopol on June 23. Russian air defences shot down four missiles. The explosion of the fragmentation warhead of the fifth one in the air, led to the death of four people, including two children. 153 people were injured, including 27 minors.
