Violence is not caused because of rigging. Violence exists because people are convinced that someone has stolen the election, whether or not its true. The mob doesn't kill someone because he is a thief, but because they believe he is a thief.
If the results will be irrefutably accurate, very free and square, I do not see Raila or Uhuru rejecting the results and resorting to disturbing the peace. I really have faith in the sanity of both men.
In Raila's case, after all, the govt, the Iebc and even the court acceded to almost all his calls for the reforms in the manner in which these elections shld be conducted to ensure it is as transparent as possible. When defeated, what grounds will he have to complain?
But the elections must be free and fair wether the losing party will accept the outcome or not.
