If the results will be irrefutably accurate, very free and square, I do not see Raila or Uhuru rejecting the results and resorting to disturbing the peace. I really have faith in the sanity of both men.

In Raila's case, after all, the govt, the Iebc and even the court acceded to almost all his calls for the reforms in the manner in which these elections shld be conducted to ensure it is as transparent as possible. When defeated, what grounds will he have to complain?

But the elections must be free and fair wether the losing party will accept the outcome or not.

Ni dhahiri mno kuwa kifo cha bw Msando lina uhusiano na kazi na waadhifa aliyo kuwa nayo IEBC. Kila naposikia hizi stori za chanzo cha kifo chake na wanao jaribu kumwekea lawama yule mwanamke nakumbuka jinsi vyombo vya habari ba serikali ya moi walivyojaribu kutuziba macho kuhusu kifo cha Mh. Robert Ouko mwaka wa 1990. Wakati ule walisema alijiondoa uhai yeye mwenyewe kwa kujipiga risasi, kujitesa, kujitubukiza ndani ya Sulphuric acid na hatimaye kujilaza karibu na shamba lake kule kisumu. But the circumstances surrounding Msando death, all those are possibilities which can not be ruled out.

You're putting words in ma mouth. Wapi nimesema akishindwa apewe? What I believe ni kwamba hata akishinda, hatapewa. Kuliko apewe mtachapana. I have no doubt on that.

Mjaluo hatakaa apewe nchi. Anything else except presidency. Kikuyus are attributed to the freedom fighting and independence of Kenya, certainly, they've sworn not to let their country go to dogs. I'm just sayin

He was murdered, and it hasnt been established by whom and why...but all the fingers of blame are pointed at the govt as though they are the only ones with the motive and the monopoly of meting out such violence in this country.

He was hopping from one tv station to the next to defend the Iebc against the opposition allegations that the body was planning to aid the govt win the elections thru the KIEM systems. What if the opposition did it to turnish the image of the govt to the voters and lend credence to their claims about the govt plot to rig the elections?

Haya ni yako, akishinda atapewa mamlaka. Hamna mahali pamesemwa ati mjaluo asipewe nchi.

Hawa viongozi unasema wakikuyu wenye tamaa ya mamlaka wangemnyima tu mtu yeyote awe mjaluo ama nani anayetaka kuwanyanganya mamlaka.

Wajaluo wenyee tamaa ya mamlaka pia wanaweza kuwanyima wakikuyu au mtu kutoka jamii yoyote lile hio opportunity ya kuchukua mamlaka kutoka kwao.

Shida hapa sio kabila, bali tamaa ya wachache kuhodhi mamlaka, na ni jambo linalotokeakote Afrika.

Hivi kweli CCM hapo Tanzania inaweza kubalia Chadema kushika mamlaka?

Acheni kuvuruga ushahidi.
The guy was fair and straight. Alikataa katakata kuhujumu uchaguzi huu. Wenyewe walifikili ni Kivuitu style au Jecha. Huyu alikuwa hanunuliki kirahisi. Very sad, halafu ni kijana m'bichi tu.

Jamaa has departed us, we should be consoling his fam, and not cooking conspiracy theories. All i know is that an important official has been brutally murdered days before an election .Call me anything, but this is certainly tied to his position at IEBC. Remember, he reported to the police threats on his life and demanded protection, which he was denied. Days later, he lost his life. We should stop this culture of trying to defend inexcusable atrocities because of our political or other inclination. Our primary identity is human, so we must subordinate ourselves to all the things that attempt to degrade our humanity. Call out BS for what it is : BS.

He was fair, I dint call him a crook. He defended the voting electronic system that he had created that it was almost infallible and virtually impenetratable by the nefarious forces seeking to manipulate the outcome of the elections.

But the opposition dint believe him. They viewed him and his collegues as the man of the govt in the Iebc tasked wth the drudgery of ensuring the results go the ruling party's way, as descreetly as possible.

He tried so hard to assure the opposition. He was in fact on TV in the evening of his disappearance, rebutting the allegations by the opposition.that the Iebc was planning to rig the elections in the govt favor.

Sir, we are all shocked and outraged by the senseless, brutal murder of this Iebc official and his female partner, irrespective of our political leanings. We all condole with the families affected.

However, the murder of such a high- profile individual, with the reasons surrounding the killing unclear, conspiracy theories abound. There is absolutely nothing anybody can do about that, esp in this country with bad a history in bringing such cases to closure.

Even u cant help speculating the persons responsible and why. See?
You are laying the blame solely on the govt and the collegues of the deceased. But why them? Why not the opposition, or some persons who were bearing personal grudges with him?

No one will go to the streets my fren...labda jubilee i lose ....raila will not go to the streets so far they havent pulled put of the election meaning they trust IEBC upto this point ...and with the measures put inplace by IEBC for elections sioni kama kutakuwa na rigging

Kama haupendi Rao sio lazma umtrush its not like he hasnt done a thing for this country.....i dont remember Uhuru kenyatta Sleeping in Jail for 10yrs for civil rights movement in this country .......that is what most people in some place in Kenya dont see and hate a guy because he is in opposition.
