Currently this is what you havAxle load ya Tz SGR ni 35 tons, That Rail can carry 1.5 more than a kenya SGR rail.
The problem with kenya's Rail is not even the axle load but the Pulling power of the locamotives..its capped at 3000 horsepower while electric localmotives go upto 10000 horsepower.
Tz Sgr will pull more and heavier boggies. No need to stack, huo ni ushamba

I think you live in some cave. Tz SGR is now at 30% completion. The locomotives are probably coming from Japan(Hitachi) and ABB(Germany) will electrify the Rail.Currently this is what you havView attachment 947752

No, The Cable height for elecrifying a locomotive is standard, once you double stack it means you also play with the height..not possible..or too much complications especialy on areas that require railway switch.Are you saying it's not possible to have electrified double stack on the Kenyan SGR or are you saying its not possible at all?
