The only thing Tz imeshinda Kenya ni peace and natural resources period..other than that, hakuna chochote watz wanalolijua...When it comes to matters of the economy, Kenya is more diversified and obviously bigger....Nairobi is the center and gateway of E.A of multinational companies and foreign investors.....In terms of infrastructure kenya has it again, Dar es salaam inakaa kama Githurai.....i dont need to tell you about athletics Kenya is king not just in E.A but in the world....Kenya's tourism is also great....military power tumeshinda Tz ndio maana tukapeleka AMISOM Somalia watz wakilala tu kwao....Tz is one of the poorest nations in the world according to the World Bank....For a nation that has lazy people, Tanzania is not likely to stop relying on foreign aid....on the oher hand, Kenya is doing very well...it is exceptional in E.A since, despite the fact that it is the youngest of the East African nations in gaining independence from colonial power, it is the most developed....embracing a capitalist society in the 60s was a great thing and Tanzania should b way ahead of Kenya but it chose to embrace the "Ujamaa" system and you can see the results...Rwanda is performing very well and Uganda too. However, TZ still lags behind inspite of the numerous advantages its boasts over its neighbors...

Tanzania boast of natural oil and gas yet Kenya leads in regional trade and development

Tanzania has bigger geographical land for wildlife (they have Kilimanjaro too) yet Kenyan tourism beats them

Tanzania got its independence first yet Kenya is way ahead in terms of development

Compare Nairobi to Dar es Salaam ....while Kenya's capital contends with cities like Cairo, Johannesburg, Cape Town, Accra and Lagos, Dar is still lagging behind
Oh,,,and ask a Tanzanian to speak just one sentence in English, you will laugh until you die...
In essence I think Rwanda and Kenya are the regional powers but the same cannot be said for their Tanzanian counterparts
