Kababu I detest your level of understanding. In 2011 its the same government that banned cereal exports? How do u insentivise farmers with inconsistent policies? Did food prices drop? No!
 
This is not today's rate. Go try buying usd for 1696 anywhere!

Na hatu-export kitu chochote maana viwanda wameuzwa vyote, badala ya kuzalisha vimefanywa maghara ya wafanya biashara.

We may import everything but do u mean that we have suddenly started Importing everything at once! My friend our dollars have been exported by top officials and our foreign reserves are at ZERO! Ndulu & company have it in their swiss accounts! There is no way that a CB with a reserve of 4.5 months of import not able to sell usd even 50m in the market. Impossible. The kenyans sold 200m.

Very sad that our leaders are not concerned. Not a single statement from either the Governer or the MoF. This shows how much out of touch they are from the common people.

Inawezekana TZS imeanguka, pia inawezekana US $ imekuwa na nguvu zaidi, hata Euro, Japanese Yen, GBP, South African Rand, KSH, etc zimebanwa pumzi na $ kwa kipindi sasa..

Mkuu hayo uliyoyasema nimeyaona kwa macho yangu na yameniuma sana. last week nilikuwa mikoa ya kusini.. ni msimu wa kuvuna korosho sasaivi, pamoja na gharama za madawa na kuhudumia mashamba wakulima wamevuna kororsho zao serikali imepiga marufuku watu binafsi kununua korosho, wanataka zipelekwe ghalani.. mkulima anaingia gharama za kupeleka ghalani na halipwi hata shilingi kumi, malipo ya awali shilingi 600 kwa kilo yatatolewa baada ya serikali kuuza korosho hizo( na haijulikani lini) Kuna wakulima wanadai malipo ya mwaka jana na mwaka huu wanatakiwa wapeleke korosho ghalani bila ya malipo yoyote. inasikitisha sana.
