Silence might have been your good response to this article! Since, as a nation, we decided and agreed on the rule of law then let's all stick to that!
Those purported "culprits" have denied their rights to be heard, movement, representation and worse, they are "serving" sentences without court conviction!
So pathetic!
I agree with you that they must be given a fair trial. Nature of some of the committed crimes, might be the reason the state avoid to go head to head in the court of law. They will be freed and yet pausing a danger.
US and some western countries created something out of nowhere in Guantamobay. The reason is the same....they know those guys are dangerous. And yet, the evidence in the court of law won't make an appeal to the judges!
In our case, what really is the reason for their detainment? Maana kulianza kumwagiana tindikali, mara kuua mapadre, kuchoma makanisa etc
