Should Kenya and Tanzania merge?


You guyz are just sore-losers. What is that so difficult for you to use 'search' tool? Oh mai mai mai. Iz that so difficult for the people from 'superior' country?

60% is not bad,nafikiri kwa TZ is more than 60% na hawalipi kodi na wanachukua billions in accounted gold and all major contracts worthy billions za kutengeneza barabara kuanzia KONOIKE,KAJIMA,ITALIANS etc,na hii globalization who cares kama ni native or foreigners anamiliki economy?

Watu wanataka jobs,tax na fair play tuu sio s-tupid politics zako za uzawa,states ni super power lakini FYI treasury iko dominated na Chinese & Japanese debt,hata hiyo wall street,NASDAQ,S&P ambazo ndio economy engine zao foreign investment za waarabu na wachina ni zaidi ya 40%,nothing wrong with foreign investment na hata President Kikwete everyday analia anataka foreign investment,unawatukana wakenya lakini you have no idea kama ni major business partner na TZ.

Nenda BOT uangalie flow of money utajua KCB put more money than Barclays or standard chartered combined...tafadhari kabla ya kuja na politics zako angalia details whata it means to have FED? from business, education, security, democracy etc its not perfect lakini kuna mengi mazuri ya kutupeleka mbele kuliko kurudi nyuma.

Wewe endelea with your fight lakini smart people like kagame wako ahead na hii na wanaruhusu any kenyans,Tanzanians kufanya kazi bila work permit kwao.

Afadhali ibakie hiyo jumuiya ya afrika mashariki na sisi wazanzibari mututambue kama taifa huru. Vinginevo ni kuburuzana tu.
 
While you can select your friends you cannot select your neighbour - so Kenya and Tanzania are in that unenviable position ya kuwa neighbours.

Nyumba ya jirani ikishika moto inabidi uende kusaidia ama sivyo moto utaenea mpaka kwako.

Haya yaliltokea mwaka jana wakati wa machafuko ya kura za huko Kenya.

Waheshimiwa wengi wa Kenya walikimbia Tanzania kujihifadhi kwa usalama wao wenyewe. Pia wakati kulipokuwa na matatizo Pemba baadhi yao walikmbilia Kenya kujihifadhi - ingawaje tukubali kuwa matatizo ya Pemba yalikuwa madogo sana ukilinganisha na ya kenya.

Ktk uchumi wa nchi kutegemea uchumi wa kibepari (wa nguvu za soko), ni jambo la hatari sana kwa nchi kusubiria wageni washike uchumi. Na ndio maana uliona wakina mzee Idd Simba wakionesha njia kupitia kampuni ya kizalendo - NICO.

Haya ni maarifa magumu sana kwa watu wenye upeo finyu wa kupokea maarifat kama akina Koba et al.

Watanzania lazima tuamke kuanzisha makampuni yetu wenyewe, tena makubwa ili kufanya biashara.

Hili linawezekana kabla wageni hawajaingia na kukamata mianya ya bishara zote.

Kuna miji ukienda hapa Tanzania biashara zote zimeshikwa na wanachi hata wale wenzetu wa kiasia wamepungua sana baada ya wazalendo kufuata mali huko huko nje ya nchi.

We must be risk takers na ndio siri ya mafanikio.

Mtindi, I know you have the best of intentions for your country, but le me school you on some things.. For substantial economic development to take place, foreign investment is inevitably a factor, its usually at the top of the list with security, infrastructure etc.

for our third world economies, we need to combine local and foreign investments so as to progress.. (why do you think Governments give incentives for foreign investors?)

Foreign investment is good as long as it doesn't kill the local industries, or flood the markets with substandard goods.. Kama wa Bongo wanaeza inua economy yao wenyewe, it will be great, and I know Kenyans will learn alot from you guys. Lakini as history has shown it is unatainable without indirect or direct investments from foreigners.

Quit your socialistic thinking in a capitalist world, mta baki nyuma msipo ji unchain from selfish development. I know we need each others as neighbours, you just have to open your eyes and ears.

This can all be accomplished via an economic union like East Afrikan Community used to be... we used same currency, had huge modern airline flying around the world, had fleet of ships dominating African maritime commerce and didn't need visas - if I was educated correctly, this all was accomplished while the 3 countries maintained sovereignty.

Was jus goin thru this debate of Kenyans merging with Tz.I would like to remind fellow bloggers to go and do and redo their research work inorder to comment on the real facts.

Kenyans are more educated..No doubt,Kenya is more advanced..And trying to push it to the corner kisa vurugu zilotokea wakati wa uchaguzi.I think this isnt fair.Look at our democracy!!then compare it with any other country in eastern Africa.

In the last Tz Election Hon Kikwete won by close to 80% of the total votes...How many demonstrations were blocked and wananchi were despersed by teargas in dar- A few mayb none.

For a president to win with 80%...He must be an Angel..Or lack of democracy..Or illeteracy playing a major role,Watu wanapiga kura kwa pesa.

So guys when we address issues concerning these 2 countries we should put the good facts in mind and not blaiming Kenya's post election crimes.

After all amani haiji ila kwa nchi ya upanga!!If people are Educated n know their rights,they will fight for them.This has happened in all the so called advanced democracies of the world.

I think Tz merging with Kenya,it will be more beneficial to Tz..coz Kenya will have to drag Tz n pull it to synch with our MAENDELEO KWA WOTE PROGRAMME.
