4. Objects

The objects for which the Society is established are:

• to maintain and improve the standards of conduct and learning of the legal profession in Tanzania;
• to facilitate the acquisition of legal knowledge by members of the legal profession and others;
• to assist the Government and the Courts in all matters affecting legislation, and the administration and practice of the law in Tanzania;
• to represent, protect and assist members of the legal profession in Tanzania as regards conditions of practice and otherwise;
• to protect and assist the public in Tanzania in all matters touching, ancillary or incidental to the law;
• to acquire, hold, develop or dispose of properties of all kinds, whether movable or immovable, and to derive capital or income from them, for all or any of the foregoing objects;
• to raise or borrow money for all or any of the foregoing objects in any manner and upon any security which may from time to time be determined by the Society;
• to invest and deal with moneys of the Society not immediately required in any manner which may from time to time be determined by the Society;
• to do all other things which are incidental or conducive to the attainment of the foregoing objects or any of them

Katika hizi objects zote ipi ni ya ajabu, ngumu na haitekekezeki? Na kwanini unaonekana kuwa na hofu kubwa juu ya mtu huyu?

Kuna dhambi zinawasumbua huko CCM bila shaka na mnapoona ujasiri wa huyu Rais wa TLS akitamka boldly kutekeleza majukumu yake kwa kuisimamia vyema section 4 ya sheria ya TLS, mnatetemeka. Why?

Mimi nakuelewa sana ndugu comte. Hofu yako, ndiyo hofu ya CCM na serikali yote ya CCM. Tafadhali, msijaribu tu kumuua kama mlivyojaribu kwa Tundu Lissu mwaka 2017. Hiyo itakuwa mbaya sana kwenu this time.!

Na ni kwanini unadhani hawezi kuisimamia na kuitekeleza maana mimi naona umefyatuka tu hewani, ukakopi na ku pest hizo objectives na kisha ukatoa conclusion kuwa hawezi kuzitekeleza?

Hao ma - Rais wengine wote waliopita wa TLS kumbe wao walikuwaga wanasimamiaga nini ktk utendaji wao? Kwanini walikuwa nje ya hii section 4 ya sheria yao wenyewe kiasi cha wewe kuwa limekukaa kwenye akili (mindset) yako, yakawa mazoea yako kuishi ktk uchafu na kushindwa na kiasi cha kuamini kuwa hakuna mtu anayeweza kuisimamia hii section 4 ya sheria ya TLS?

Mimi najua na kuelewa, hofu yako hii imetokana na KUJIAMINI KWA JAMAA HUYU na kwa ujasiri mkubwa kutamka boldly kuwa anakwenda kusimamia objectives za kuanzishwa kwa TLS kama zilivyo ktk section 4 ya sheria yao..
