Listen, Earth is really huge, Compared to a human is it absolutely gigantic. It’s so big in fact, that no matter where you are, your immediate miles of surroundings are actually flat, because the tiny bit of curvature from that microscopic bit of the earth you can see and feel has so little curvature that you can’t see it or feel it.
You can see the effect of the curvature when looking over something that’s flat for hundreds of miles. Flat as in no trees, hills, mountains, buildings or other stuff blocking your view. Which is only the ocean. So looking over the ocean you can see the effect of the curve on how ships appear and disappear, and in particular in how the sun sets and rises. So instead of thinking (bizarrely) that the suns reflection in these images is kind of gotcha, sit and watch it a bit longer. See how the sun sets, bottom up, without getting any smaller. That is only possible on a sphere earth. The same thing in reverse happens when the sun rises. Only possible on a sphere earth. No, perspective doesn’t act like that.
