Love is a desire to do good to others.
Life is a shimmering fluctuating,indistinct force,;it is the hub of the senses and the perceptions.
When the basic nature of life returns to its original clarity,that is the end of the turbid imagination of man.
The control of the life princple is very much linked to the control of the imagination. When the life principle becomes steady,the imagination becomes steady.
A dog is the animal taht barks at night to chase thieves from the house.

I have an animal (we call it a dog) it never barks.., and it never stay in the house as well as it has never chased anyone, does it mean its not a dog ?
Also my friend has one too, but it chases everyone (even friends) and barks during the day as well as nights, does it mean such an animal its not a dog ? (since it has no characteristics of the animal defined above)

Is a handshake a feeling or an action of shaking hands? The act of feeling cannot be equated to the noun of feeling. "Feeling" and "A feeling" are very different things, hence sun wu my description of love still stands!

Therefore if I sit besides the fire to have a "A feeling of warmth" am I feeling the love.... ?

You have said it yourself compadre, when sitting beside the fire you are having "a feeling of WARMTH", not "a feeling of LOVE"
Thus "Love" is still a feeling!!

In your definition you said love is "a feeling"
but we have elaborated that , warmth, hate and many more things they are also a feeling
Therefore to put it bluntly all feelings or "a feeling) are not necessarily love.., hence your deduction does not hold water.., (needs more elaboration)... as you know a dog is a four legged animal..., although all four legged animals are not dogs as well as there are dogs with three legs (amputated ones...)
