First of all most people think Africa is a COUNTRY when it’s actually a CONTINENT

-Most people think that everyone in Africa is poor, NO! A lot of people in Africa are rich and are living BETTER lives than those in America. By better I mean, they buy their own propeties, build their homes, no mortgages, no taxes.

-Most people think that everyone in Africa is uneducated and uncivilized. NO!

There’s uneducated people for sure but that’s not everywhere in Africa!

What I hear the most, is when people think everyone in Africa is black lol and looks like this

CAPE VERDANS (not sure if that’s what they’re called)

SOUTH AFRICANS

Also, most people think Africa is DISGUSTING like what they show on CNN

They normally consider majority of Africans and their life style

Forexample, in Tanzania only 20% of population stays in those beautiful Cities, same to Kenya...and there are Westerners, Indians and Chinese there as well while 80% are peasants lives in rural areas

Majority of Africans are poor especcially in 3rd world countries where people survives under 1$, failing to sustain their life

So, very few Africans lives a wealthy life and most of them are not Blacks, majority lives in hardship environments without safe water, good education, good Shelter etc.

What surprised me the most is how modern and innovative some places are. If you visit cities like Nairobi, Lagos, or Johannesburg, you’ll see how much energy and creativity there is.
