First things first, lest this gets misconstrued as a hate post - His penmanship is peerless and I wouldn't be able to do this if I didn't at least peep the music.

Heard an interview or two last couple of days where he self proclaimed the GOAT lyricist which I guess isn't such a stretch (Personally, I have other ideas though I ain't mad he's in the conversation). In light of his proclamation, I felt its only fair that fans of his and rap in general list and preferably link songs he's lifted from over the years (and there has been a little too many for the rap fan in me to overlook, granted its almost always has been just a line or two in a song filled with original 16s that one can't frown on).

This is in appreciation of the inspiration behind his genius, and is in traditional hip hop fashion as the culture did Jay when he was getting bolder with his claim to the throne.

That said, starting with his latest release, a nod to the Waterproof MC

And his breakout song

Sophomore effort, another Fredro concept

Will update the list as my memory lets me but you can drop yours

Hahahahaha ....whatever.He gives life to these lyrics to fit into our context and that alone needs a little appreciation.wengi wa wasanii i hapa kwetu hufanya
