Residents of Mdantsane, NU6 today woke from an unusual situation, A 25 year old man was found stark and unable to move in one of the houses in the neighborhood.
The burglar was found covered in blood, of which it was caused by broken window glasses he tried to use enter the house with, first person to find the man was a neighbor who claimed she heard the mans cry at around about 3:00am morning, and went to seek for help and other close neighbors came to assist only to find out there's is no way to get the man out and have find the house owner.
The complex was empty at the time of burglary, and the thug took advantage, fortunately this morning it was not his lucky day, as he find himself unable to move stark in between the two sides of the house.
Many in the area believe the man was hit by Umithi, as it believed by many that the complex is owned by a business know man, and he is associated with traditional people.
One resident said "All of them we find them here, he is not the first one is not last"
The owner came hours later after he received a call from the neighborhood committee to come and calm the situation, the man was arrested after he was freed.
