South African schools to teach Swahili in a bid to unite Africans

Over 50 Universities in the US offer Swahili as an option. 90% of the teachers are from..... The same is true for other continents.

English is an important language globally. It is currently the most important language in the world. At any cost, learn it.

Kiswahili is our heritage and pride. It is an important language to us having began in Kenya and is taught by Kenyans all over the world and we hope it will become an important language to all Africans and spoken all over Africa. At any cost, learn it too.

In fact, at any cost, learn as many languages as possible - knowledge has never been a bad thing.

Walimu wa Kiswahili watanzania wanapatikana tu Tanzania.

It goes without saying that 99% of the teachers will come from Kenya.
Kenyans are industrious, and most importantly, they can speak English.
You can only teach someone a foreign language if you can first of all speak their language.

Umeskia tender wapi?
Swahili has been included as a permitted language, lakini sio lazima shule zifunze. It's just like some schools choose to teach French or German.

When the rubber hits the road, Kenyans will take up nearly 100% of all teaching positions. Kenyans are industrious and can speak English.

That will be a disaster if the world is taught Kiswahili slang from Kenya. I have not met a Kenyan who can sustain at least two sentences without mixing with English. And poorly pronounced English at that.
