Kuleba, Sikorski discuss steps to use NATO air defenses to take down targets over Ukraine

In the military sphere, we focused on the issue of MIG jets and agreed on further steps to create the possibility for Ukraine's neighbours to intercept from their territory Russian missiles and drones in the Ukrainian airspace, Foreign Ministers of Ukraine said

MOSCOW, August 28. /TASS/. Foreign Ministers of Ukraine and Poland Dmitry Kuleba and Radolsaw Sikorski discussed the Kiev’s request for NATO to use their air defense systems to protect the Ukrainian airspace.

"In the military sphere, we focused on the issue of MIG jets and agreed on further steps to create the possibility for Ukraine's neighbours to intercept from their territory Russian missiles and drones in the Ukrainian airspace," Kuleba said on his X page.

Speaking at the "Poland of the Future" forum in Olsztyn earlier, Kuleba admitted that, due to the West’s concerns regarding an escalation of the conflict, "each Ukrainian request for a new type of weapon was initially met with denial."

On July 8, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said that Warsaw will discuss the option of downing missiles travelling over western parts of Ukraine close to the Polish border. Back then, Washington treated the Polish initiative with skepticism. In Particular, White House Strategic Communications Advisor John Kirby noted that this could lead to an escalation of the conflict.

Wafuasi wa Putin tumuombeeni sana Putin.
Pamoja na kua jeshi la Urusi linafanya vizuri, lakini maisha yake binafsi Yako hatarini sana Sasa hivi.
Binafsi namuomba Mungu amlinde.
Putin yupo salama na hakuna wa kumuua. Kumuua Putin ni suicide mission ya kuimaliza Ulaya na Ukraine ambavyo imetokea kuwa mbele kuipinga Urusi.
Wamagharibi wanajua hili. Waukrein wanajua

Ukraine heading 'closer and closer' to total blackout, says MP

Russia's attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure is taking the country "closer and closer" to a total blackout, says one of its MPs.

Speaking on Sky News, Kira Rudik, who lives in Kyiv, says the city's home do not have electricity for the "majority of the day".

"It's terrifying that still, by this point, we are unable to protect us from those vicious attacks in full. And Russia keeps bringing us closer and closer to that total blackout.

"How we are going to survive the winter is unclear right now, because the weather outside is still good. But once it gets colder and people start to consume more energy, we will not be able to handle it."

Vipi kuhusu kichapo cha J'tatu na J'nne?? Hapo ni kujiongeza tu!

But this week, he declined to elaborate
on what further damage Monday's strikes had caused.

"I don’t really like energy PR," he said. "It's not very helpful when the enemy knows what damage they have done.

"Let the information about the condition of our energy facilities and what we are currently doing there be kept quiet."

Since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion, Ukraine has significantly ramped up its military production, investing $7 billion in its domestic defense industry this year alone, stated Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov at the "Ukraine 2024. Independence" forum.

"We are boosting the nation's strength through the acquisition of drones, robotic systems, and electronic warfare technology, which is already delivering tangible results on the battlefield, as our defenders can attest. One of our key priorities is long-term planning. We are building a Defense Forces model aligned with NATO standards, implementing digital solutions, and modernizing the army," Umerov said.View attachment 3081772n

245 military facilities of the russian Federation could be hit by the Armed Forces if the USA lifted restrictions on ATACMS, - ISW.

By the way, Britain and France already support long-range attacks on the russian Federation.

Narudia tena ni wamagharibi hao ndiyo wanatoa taarifa!

The Armed Forces of Ukraine have completely closed the eastern border of the caldera in Kursk. Around 700 Russian soldiers are inside the boiler, now they have to wait until hunger and thirst make them come out and deliver. Meanwhile, Ukraine will bomb the place intensely, who wants to live? come out, who doesn't want to? wait for the hands of God.

Since Ukraine began receiving ATACMS missiles, Russia has relocated 90% of its aircraft beyond the range of these missiles, according to The Wall Street Journal. This relocation implies that using these missiles on Russian territory will have a limited impact. Additionally, the United States currently refuses to lift restrictions on strikes deep into Russian territory.

Despite this, the Russian military still relies on airfields within the affected area to support its offensive in temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories. Anatoliy Khrapchynskyi, the deputy director of a company producing electronic warfare equipment, believes that although Russia has moved some aircraft out of range, it will continue to take risks and use these airfields, potentially losing aircraft in the process.

In the direction of Kursk, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to advance east from the village of Korenevo. The Russians took note of the fact that several settlements fell at the same time, among them Aleksandrivka for the second time. So far they have not named the depth of the Armed Forces' advance, and our soldiers are already closer than the Katsaps showed on the map. There is information that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are already close to the E-38 Rylsk-Kursk highway.

The Ukrainian war is reaching a tipping point, the Russia advance is accelerating!

1) Recently Russia units capture about 28 square kilometers of territory per day.

2) In mid-August it was 11 square kilometers per day.

3) In July it was 5 square kilometers per day.

The Russian progress is picking up speed.

The war is fought as an attrition war by Russia and we reached the point where Ukraines battle capabilities are degraded to the point where the AFU can’t defend the front anymore.

Now, instead of focusing and executing a fighting retreat, the Zelensky decided to make a big gamble and attack Kursk. The idea was very likely to seize the Kursk nuclear plant and force Russia into negotiations, using it as leverage.

That plan not only failed, but it expanded the front further into Kursk, what for an understaffed and under-equipped army is problematic.

Now the hype faded away, Kursk slowly turned into another piece of the front with aggressive attrition and now there are not enough troops to defend the Donbass.

Essentially without the return of Ukranian reserves from the Kursk region, it will be impossible for the AFU to keep the front from collapsing. Russia is only increasing the pressure.

Retreating from Kursk would be a PR disaster, but the collapse in the Donbass is breaking through the hype and becoming a disaster as well for Zelensky and co.
