Russian troops liberate Nelepovka community in Donbass region over past day

Russia’s Battlegroup South inflicted roughly 560 casualties on Ukrainian troops in its area of responsibility over the past day, the Defense Ministry reported

MOSCOW, September 30. /TASS/. Russian troops liberated the community of Nelepovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) over the past day in the special military operation in Ukraine, Russia’s Defense Ministry reported on Monday.

"Battlegroup Center units liberated the settlement of Nelepovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic in active operations," the ministry said in a statement.

MOSCOW, September 30. /TASS/. The Russian troops are systematically liberating the Kursk Region, clearing it of Ukrainian servicemen, Akhmat Special Forces Commander Major General Apty Alaudinov told TASS.

"The situation is under control, we are slowly pushing the enemy out of our territory. We are slowly mopping up the Kursk Region, destroying the enemy's resources," he said.

Russian forces cut off Selidovo-Kurakhovo road in DPR

DONETSK, September 30. /TASS/. Russian forces have cut off the Selidovo-Kurakhovo road in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), defense circles told TASS on Monday.

"The road leading to Kurakhovo from Selidovo has been cut off," the defense circles said.

In addition, Russian troops keep a railway road near the settlement of Tsukurino under their gunfire control. Therefore, the Ukrainian army’s logistics hub in that frontline sector has been cut off, the defense circles said.

"So far, the enemy has dirt roads but they are also shelled," the defense circles said.

Russian troops damage Ukrainian army’s supply bridge in DPR

DONETSK, September 30. /TASS/. Russia’s missile strike damaged a bridge used for supplying Ukrainian army garrisons in Kurakhovo and Selidovo in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), defense circles told TASS on Monday.

"A strike at the weekend damaged a bridge across the reservoir in Kurakhovo. This is one of the key motorways used for supplying the enemy’s garrisons in Selidovo and Kurakhovo," the defense circles said.

The damaged bridge will pose a major problem for the Ukrainian army, especially in the mud season, the defense circles said.

"The length of the reservoir is large and it is both wide and deep, which will pose a problem [for the Ukrainian military]," the defense circles said.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) - The Russian armed forces have eliminated more than 18,900 Ukrainian servicepeople and 133 tanks during military operations in the border areas of the Kursk Region, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Monday.
"In total, during the fighting in the Kursk region, the enemy lost more than 18,900 military personnel, 133 tanks, 65 infantry fighting vehicles, 98 armored personnel carriers, 856 armored combat vehicles, 562 vehicles," the ministry said.
Kiev loses over 350 soldiers in the Kursk Direction over the past 24 hours, the defense ministry said.
 
Russian military strikes Ukrainian train unloading site – MOD

Russian forces have reportedly hit a train unloading site in Nikolaev Region in southern Ukraine, destroying several wagons full of ammunition, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Monday.

The attack was carried out using an Iskander-M missile system and targeted a railway hub in the village of Kazanka, the ministry reported in an update on its official Telegram channel.

As a result of the strike, 12 wagons of ammunition, some of which was supplied by Western countries, are said to have been destroyed.

The ministry also provided a video, apparently captured by a drone, purporting to show the attack. In one clip from the video, a missile is seen striking what appears to be the train. Another shows a second strike on a target appearing to move along the tracks.
