Volodymyr Zelensky gave an interview discussing the Victory Plan following recent international meetings. Here are the main points:

Speaking to reporters following the EU summit in Brussels on Thursday, Scholz said that “Germany’s stance on the issues that are touched upon” in Zelensky’s plan remain the same. The chancellor added that it is his duty to prevent the Ukraine conflict from escalating into a full-blown war between NATO and Russia.

On the night of October 18th, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation launched another wave of strikes on Ukrainian rear facilities throughout the country. According to the Ukrainian military, the country came under one of the most massive attack of Russian drones.

According to the official report by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrainian air defense allegedly intercepted 80 Russian UAVs out of 135 drones. The Ukrainian military command claimed that two UAVs flew back to the territory of Belarus. At the time of publication of the report, a dozen Russian drones were reportedly flying over the central regions of Ukraine.

The official reports of Ukrainian military officials rarely correspond to reality. The scale of the revealed damage caused by Russian night attack is much larger than reported by the Ukrainian side.

Ukrainian military monitoring sources and local media confirmed explosions throughout the country, including in the western regions. Russian forces launched both Geran-2 kamikaze UAVs and Kh-59 guided missiles.

Explosions thundered in the Kiev, Odessa, Sumy, Zhitomir, Rivne, Volyn, Poltava, Cherkassy, Khmelnitsk, Vinnitsa, Kherson, Kharkiv, Kirovograd regions as well as in the area under Ukrainian control in the Donetsk People’s Republic. Numerous Russian strikes were confirmed.

⚡️Ukraine’s defense partners have shown interest in the issue of mobilizing 18–25-year-olds, Defense Minister Rustem Umerov stated

“Sometimes there are discussions where they want to understand why we aren’t recruiting or mobilizing people aged 18 to 25. We explain that this is a decision by the Verkhovna Rada, which allowed us to mobilize from ages 25 to 60. They are simply curious about why Ukraine makes such decisions,” he noted.

The Ukrainian Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War reported that the body of 501 killed serviceman was returned to Ukraine.

The Ukrainian project “I Want to Find” claims that Russia received 89 bodies of fallen soldiers. This was confirmed by State Duma deputy and representative of the parliamentary coordination group on “special military operation” Shamsail Saraliyev.

Ukraine Loses Over 505 Soldiers in Kursk Area in Past Day - MoD

MOSCOW (Sputnik) - The Ukrainian armed forces lost more than 505 soldiers in the Kursk region over the past day, the Russian Ministry of Defense (MoD) said on Friday.
"Over the past day, the Ukrainian armed forces lost more than 505 people, 15 units of armored vehicles were destroyed, including two tanks, two infantry fighting vehicles, an armored personnel carrier, 10 armored combat vehicles," the MoD said in a statement.
In total, Ukraine has lost more than 24,367 servicemen and 167 tanks during operations in Kursk area, the ministry added.
