Ukrainian army controls less than one percent of LPR territory, military expert says

LUGANSK, October 1. /TASS/. By liberating Makeyevka, Russian forces drove Ukrainian troops out of the last major settlement in the Lugansk People’s Republic that Kiev controlled, military expert Andrey Marochko told TASS.

Marochko specified that "a small piece of land" in the Svatovo and Kremennaya area remained under Ukraine’s control. "However, judging by how things are going along the line of engagement, I can say that the full liberation of the Lugansk People’s Republic is not too far away," the expert added.

The Russian Defense Ministry announced on September 29 that the town of Makeyevka had been liberated through successful offensive operations by Battlegroup West.

According to Reuters, Russia is negotiating with the Yemeni Houthis through Iran about the transfer of long-range anti-ship P-800 Onyx missiles.

On September 24, Houthis managed to hit a US Navy supply ship for the first time. Russian P-800 Onyx missiles will help them sink even behemoth American aircraft carriers easily.

According to Yakov Kedmi Telegram channel, the P-800 missiles will be programmed by Russian officers, just as American officers program US-made ATACMS missiles for strikes on Russian targets.
 
UK to supply 100 Brimstone air-to-ground missiles for F-16 fighter jets

London will additionally transfer about a hundred Brimstone missiles, artillery guns and ammunition, British Secretary of State for Defence John Healey said earlier.

Russian forces have reportedly hit a train unloading site in Nikolaev Region in southern Ukraine, destroying several wagons full of ammunition, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Monday.

The attack was carried out using an Iskander-M missile system and targeted a railway hub in the village of Kazanka, the ministry reported in an update on its official Telegram channel.

As a result of the strike, 12 wagons of ammunition, some of which was supplied by Western countries, are said to have been destroyed.

The ministry also provided a video, apparently captured by a drone, purporting to show the attack. In one clip from the video, a missile is seen striking what appears to be the train. Another shows a second strike on a target appearing to move along the tracks.
