Ukraine lost 6,000 more fighters on LPR borders in one month than in September

LUGANSK, November 4. /TASS/. The Ukrainian Armed Forces lost 6,000 more fighters on the borders of the Lugansk People's Republic (LPR) in October than in the previous month - almost 53,000 people, military expert Andrey Marochko told TASS.

"In October, the armed formations of Ukraine continued their attempts to stop the advance of our troops. Last month, 200 enemy counter-attacks were repulsed on the LPR borders (86 more than in September). As a result of the decisive actions of our units, 11 settlements (in the LPR) were liberated, which is the most successful result this year. The enemy's losses in the reporting period amounted to about 52,795 Ukrainian fighters and mercenaries, which is 5,960 more than in September," Marochko said.

He added that during this period the Russian Armed Forces destroyed 746 vehicles, 365 various armored vehicles, 61 tanks, 12 launchers of multiple launch rocket systems, 499 field artillery pieces, 114 electronic and anti-battery warfare stations, and 169 field ammunition depots.

LUGANSK, November 4. /TASS/. Over the past week Russian troops of battlegroups North, South and West have eliminated11,800 soldiers of the Ukrainian armed forces and foreign mercenaries who tried to penetrate the territory of the Lugansk People's Republic, repelling 45 counterattacks of the Ukrainian army, military expert Andrey Marochko told TASS.

"Over the past week, the armed units of Ukraine continued their attempts to contain the offensive actions of the Russian armed forces in the Kharkov region, the Lugansk and Donetsk People's Republics. From October 26 to November 1, 2024, units of the Battlegroups West and South repelled 45 enemy counterattacks. <...> The losses of the Ukrainian armed forces in the area of responsibility of the battlegroups North, South and West during the reporting period amounted to about 11,820 Ukrainian militants and mercenaries, which is 510 more than in the previous reporting period," Marochko said.

He added that during the mentioned period, the Russian military destroyed 196 vehicles, 89 various armored vehicles, five tanks, three multiple launch rocket system launchers, 96 field artillery guns, 18 electronic and counter-battery warfare stations and 30 field ammunition depots.

Russian forces destroy US-made Stryker armored fighting vehicle in Kharkov Region

MOSCOW, November 3. /TASS/. Russian forces have destroyed a US-made Stryker armored fighting vehicle in the Kharkov Region using a drone, the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement.

"Service members from Battlegroup North’s reconnaissance unit identified a US-made Stryker armored fighting vehicle using a drone. The vehicle was carrying Ukrainian troops near the town of Volchansk in the Kharkov Region. The target was attacked by an FPV drone. Objective control systems recorded the drone hitting the armored fighting vehicle in real time," the statement reads.
