Since JF is the 'Home of great thinkers', kuna swali linanisumbua na ningeomba wenye maelezo wanisaidie.

Hypothetically: Kama shimo refu na lililonyooka likichimbwa kuanzia upande mmoja ya ardhi ya Dunia na kutokeza katika upande wa pili, je ukianguka katika hilo shimo utatokea upande huo wa pili wa Dunia?

i.e. Assuming that the hot interior core was absent! This is a hypothetical question.

Kama nguvu ya mvuto inabakia constant kwamba inavivuta vitu vyote towards the center basi

- mtu akitumbukia kwenye shimo hilo atafika hadi katikati ya dunia na kutoka hapo hawezi kwenda kokote kwani hakuna nguvu inayomvuta kwenda upande wowote (ata balance!)

- kama nguvu ya dunia haipo kabisa na katikati ni hollow tu, mtu huyo hawezi kutumbukia kabisa! kwa sababu hakuna nguvu ya kumfanya aanguke, basically atakuwa kama ilivyo kwenye space ataelea tu juu ya shimo hilo!
