You are absolutely wrong! Over 50% of the people in Kenya are squarely in the middle class. The upper middle class and the top earners are not accounted for in this calculation.

Are you asking these questions because you want to be informed or are you asking these questions in a silly attempt to propagate a narrative? The vast majority of Kenyans live along the A Corridor, the A1, A2, A104 and A109.

Again, low cost private hospitals are a dime a dozen. The vast majority of Kenyans visit low cost neighborhood hospitals. During the strike, I visited my local hospital and paid a paltry $880 shillings and went on to get my medication from a local pharmacy.

You have to remember that well over 50% of Kenyans are in the middle class. Government hospitals are frequented by low income Kenyans for subsidized medication and treatment and the middle class and upper middle class for a range of sophisticated treatments.

We keep telling you that Kenya has a sizable middle class, but all Tanzanians want to talk about is Kibera.

Ask any Kenyan on this thread. When was the last time they visited a government hospital? The last time I visited a government hospital was in 1989, when I was born and the same year I got immunized.

Kenya is not Tanzania.

I don't know if I or people around me have ever visited Government hospital, I think they are somewhat about to be forgoten. Like where are they in Nairobi?? I know the KNH only in Nairobi, it means they are getting forgotten and people are getting to private hospitals.

The adverse effect is there if you you bothered to read what everybody is trying to explain to you. For a moment put off that thickness in you.
We have had adverse effect but it wasn't as extreme as you seem to insinuate due to a few concept
- That unlike Tanzania, in Kenya we have so many cheap private health facilities
- Again unlike Tanzanians, Kenyans normally don't depend a lot on government subsidized services, our middle class is vibrant and dynamic. Ujamaa thing ruined your way of thinking such that it's very hard for you guys to be self reliant without waiting on government.
